What the heck is a Gap Contest?

It's a gayper contest... I don't have a clue why they would call it a gap contest, but we're supposed to dress up all neon and shit and do massive spread eagles, and twisters off whatever their course is.
 
Must be pulling from the gaper gap...

I see that since KB can't make a legitimate jump they have resorted to holding absurd contests...
 
I'll be there, but no entering, it's 20 bucks which I'd rather spend on other things...*cough*steve, get to town*cough*
 
There were a few kids up from Holiday, but they chose not to enter due to it being $20 for an extremely flat landing.
 
so what was it, a single jump? was it in the park or down by willie's? I think hv had a free contest that day too.
 
the kb contest was at the bottom of holly(the main trail) and it had a small rail at the top, then a small id say 10-15 foot gap, then a bigger prolly 20 foot gap with different sized take offs for more air....the landing on the big one was way small though
