today i went for being a natural sandy blonde to a used q-tip orange with some platinum blonde mixed in for fun. my hair cutter has always been good to me for the past few years, but somethin' went wrong today. ontop of making me into a ginger he charged me $180. i was literally sobbing as he blowdried it and said it look fabulous. after leaving i went to another salon and they said to give it a few days and if i still wanted to vomit when i looked in the mirror to come back, either way they said they could only book me on wednesday cause their colorist was busy for the holidays...so looks like im going to school looking like i got into a fight with some bleach, anyone have anything similar/any horrible hair cut stories?
 
Not similar but...

At the end of the season last year I decided to cut my hair off and donate it to Locks of Love (something I have wanted to do for a long time). It took him forever to chop the ponytail off. Then he finished, and I almost cried. I hate my hair short. But it was for a good cause.
 
you shouldn't have paid him. what were you thinking? if you went to get your car worked on and it came back still broken, would you pay for it? no. so, why on earth would you pay for a botched dye job, especially at $180? stop dying your hair- it's seeping through your skull, killing your brain cells, and causing you to be stupid.

me too, mines like 9.99 but i usually just give her like 12 -13 cuz she knows what shes doin and iv been goin to the same haircut lady for like 3 yrs

one time i told the bitch at great clips to take an inch off, but she took like 2 off, i was furious.

then it grew back in a week and a half
 
Pretty much same for me, although i got 2 feet cut off and donated to Locks of Love. My hair used to go down to my knees and that took it up to slightly below my shoulders. Then i donated it again after a bit. It was around my jaw. i looked like a pretty skater boy. Good that shit grows back.

Exactly, $12, and a $3 tip, $15 bones total. Local guy I've been getting my hair cut at for like 10 years is the main one, but now that I'm at college, I've found ANOTHER barber who's also a) mad chill, and b) $12 , hahah.
 
Similar thing happened to my ex. She had her hair dyed, but the girl fucked up the mixture and apparently she got an acid burn on her scalp. Then when they tried to fix it they burned her AGAIN with a curler.

I dyed my own ginger by accident about a year and a half ago. I kept trying to fix it but stay blonde by myself (i dont like hairdressers since one made me ginger...how ironic) in the end I dyed it brown
 
Yes, please stop dedicating a thread to your hair. Or your face. Whatever it is you really want us commenting on. Truth is, we don't know you, so we really don't care.
