...i rep the midwest and i know for a fact that the midwest is a lot better than this. this forum fucking sucks, the midwest cult fucking sucks...therefore i wouldnt be the least bit suprised if someone saw the midwest as a place that fucking sucks. lets get going people, we may have to put up with shitty seasons, shitty snow, shitty hills, and basically shitty everything but we get over it...we still ski and we still have fun. how bout we start repping the midwest like we should be repping the midwest. start replying to evey thread that u see and join the midwest cult so it doesnt look so pathetic. i hope to see a shit load of messages with people asking to join the cult cuz this is just sad....lets make a name for ourselves. there are some good ass fucking skiers from the midwest who never get recognized because we have no name for ourselves..lets get the name out there boys and girls!
 
ha....if u took that as an insult ur dumb as hell. all i was saying is that we should get out there more and get more recognition in the sport. i wasnt talking about how many total posts the midwest has, i wasnt talking about newschoolers, was talking about skiing. if u took that as an insult ur probably one in the majority of the members of NS who always has an "everyone's out to get me" attitide to everything they read on the site. i wasnt dissing anybody, and i def wasnt dissing my homeland so chill, and next time read the post that ur about to bitch about a couple times first so u dont completely sound like ur talking out of ur ass when u dont understand it.

 
Coverage wise, the Midwest is getting more and more known, ask anyone anywhere, people know we ski park very very well, and alot of pro's hail from here, especially pro snowboarders, The Skiers i've met here are way nicer / chiller / better than the ones i met on the East Coast.

I think the Midwest is a great place to ski, and Im spending some time here and enjoying it, i think you need to calm down
 
^^^thats exactly what i was saying but in shorter form. i know that we have been getting better coverage in the past couple years but there is still catching up to do before we reach the west/east coast status. steve if ne one u are retarded if u are incabable of understanding and respecting my opinion...i need to chill? listen to urself. u dont like what i have to say, dont reply to it, mind ur own business and quit being arrogant. ive been a member of this site longer than u have and im 16 years old. im not going to listen to some arrogant cunt who thinks he knows more than me because he has more posts in this forum

calm down though, jesus christ. talk to bp personally if you're that upset, he's the one on the radio, writing articles and publicizing some of the most kick ass events and edits to go along with them...

in the meantime i think i'll go reply to every thread i see!
 
if i have anything to do with it the Midwest will be receiving equal coverege if not next season definately by the year after.

i mean we got Supersesh up on the main page, nothing more grassroots than that, and peole absolutely loved that like 90% positive feedback on the story
 
Look for good things to come from Midwestskier.com come this winter. New site coming in the fall. But the coverage is coming along pretty good. Thanks to BP

alright im over it...im not a fan of all the disrespect on this site but w/e. after a couple bowls ive now come to realize that none of this matters. the midwest is full of a lot of good skiers who could make it with a little help, thats all im trying to say. sorry to those of u who took it the wrong way. i wasnt tryin to disrespect nebody or the midwest so everyone can live in peace again. later
 
^yay for spring jam, and alot of people are defenitely defenitely getting notice from out west and out east. My friend went to visit college out east and he said that alot of people on NS had seen the articles on teh front page and alot of them had heard of cody ling, I heard the same things when I was out west in CO over new years, its all good man

couple sub-500 ft hills along the mississippi on the IL/IA border with lots gapers. I've checked it out before, really cheap early season deals and they usually are 100% open w/ park before alot of south wisco places

in my opinion, that K2 skier dude is sort of right in some respects. i agree that we defiantly deserve more credit for our skiing than we get. we should all quit hating on people for stating there opinions. lets all just chilllll.

Word. You and others have done a great job of getting the word out as well. This kid needs to chill a bit. This forum is simply where we communicate ideas and such. A lot gets decided here.

That said....

Anybody who judges an area by the internet forum associated with it needs to unplug there computer and go die in a hole.
