so I'm an intermediate level skier from New Zealand, dont exactly have the best snow here and I want to start getting into park, I'm more or less broke and still need to get my ass up the mountain. any recommendations? I'm looking at the Line tigersnake, something sub 400 USD is preferable

Check out the Armada ARV 86. They can be found at right around 400 bucks online.

Very similar dimensions to the Tiger Snake but in my opinion probably a more durable ski

Second this. There's the 2018s on Evo.com for $399usd.

You could also if available look for Atomic Punx or something similar, I found these on Evo.com as well for ~$320usd

As a fellow kiwi, have a look at torpedo 7's (or any local stores) old skis or freezepro they are about the best deals we can get here. Remember importing skis here requires you to pay gst on them (15%) if they are more than $400 NZD, and you also have shipping costs too. From memory at the start of the season torpedo had 2017 poachers for around $600nzd and Wallisch pros were about there too. I'm not sure if those deals are still around at all but check out the local stores cause sometimes they slack updating their website for the clearance stuff. Both of those options are a little more stout than the tigersnake and might handle our firm snow a bit better too.

new to the park? under 400?

try to buy used.

rossingol makes some pretty decent twin tips for intermediate skiers for the mountain try the storms.

don't do line

Torpedo7 is overpriced, I have a mate in America who will receive my skis then post them to me so I can dodge import tax

nothings wrong with line. imo I think that if you are just getting into the park, you might want to get a more all mountain ski. At least the skis ive skied from them are park or bust

I sort of already have an all mountain ski, an old pair of rossys, but I am looking at upgrading them, something thats gonna double as both bit of a park and all mountain ski is ideal
