Did anybody look at these scores, my god. there were 21 ppl supposed to compete at x ski slopestyle. For the 1st time i saw the top 3 all in the 90's. Thats cool, but i looked at evan raps' 10 place score. What the fuck! A 30! What the fuck happenned after 6th place!!!

-this comin from the guy that backseated a safety once.

those were the final results. They had a qualifier of 2 runs this morning, watched it live from EXPN.com which had all 20 or so competitors. The top 10 from that went on to the finals. My understanding was that Evan Raps got injured in his first run, someone else had a run like that too, i forget who??? and Nick Mercon fell on a switch rodeo 1080 on his last jump after a really good run and thats why his score was lower. Otherwise everyone had clean runs. Still pathetic though, i have never seen a worse judged comp.

What was up with Pep Fujas getting 2nd??? I watched the raw footage, and he in no way had a better run than Jon Olsson or Steele Spence. Something was screwed up with that.

 
most definently. pep shouldn't have gotten on the podium, and jon shoulda gotten 2nd and steele 3rd.

mercon's run was really nice, if he wouldn't have fallen on the last jump i bet he woulda been up there in the scores.

yeah 'pep''s a hella good skier, but he didn't deserve it, steele and jon did.

It's because Pep did the Titanic rail. And didn't he Zero Spin the channel or something? On X RAW it said something like that but I didn't really see it cause the 100k window is so small.

pep spun 1 jump unnatural - did not even attempt the 'titatic' huge rail (only steele did that) and did not hit the gap jump either (only steele and candide did that). plus pep fell off the end of the top rail, barely touched the second rail, and landed loose after the third rail. pep definitely did not deserve the scores he got - he should have gotten 4th or 5th at the most. should have been tanner, jon, steele on the podium.

 
yeah olsson really deserved 2nd and steele 3rd..even mike d said that the whole time throught the footage, but i do think tanner deserved to win this time

i think its funny when they have to go back and change all the commentary to make itsound like it was a good fair comp. it is funny because it looks like the judges give scores based on general pop ularity and to make the best story. haha

been said before, but i agree, it should have been tanner, jon, steele on the podium.

i think they said loubek was judging and he was on a snowboard, which explains a lot.

The raw footage is sick cause you get to hear exactly how mike d feels about the judging. I think he said somethin like 'we're gonna hafta redo this round.' I thought that was pretty funny, but i guess it probably happens more often than I thought it did.

Oh well there isn't anything anybody can do about it... Anybody have a list of judges???

I realised what I said in my post was mostly wrong. I watched it again and realised, yes, it was Steele who did the titanic and pep didn't gap the channel with his zero.

But, Tanner's run was judged pretty good, he was solid on the rails and the d-spin9 to cab9 was awesome. But, Jon's cab10 safety was incredible. I hope they show the rest of the competitors too though.

How do u get to see the final qualifiers for the xgames. Like i wanna know how rex, dorion, bushfield, and easely didn't make it to the finals. I heard about iannick b, shit that musta hurt

they judged pep they way they did because of this huge anticipation. They were way to light on him, and on hall. Not to say that hall didn't deserve it, that was by far the best slopestyle run i have ever seen. The marks seemed to high for pep tho

Pep did good, becasue he had a kick ass first run and an okay second run, steel had a a really shity run and a kick ass run, since its the combination of the 2 runs scores, pep scores higher, not to mention pep had super style and did a switch unnatural 5 compared to jons ugly switch 10...

sorry D-Spin, but you got the wrong info. it is the score of the best one run, not combined scores from 2 runs. steele's second run scored higher than pep's first run and pep's second run definitely should not have been scored higher than either steele or jon!!!

haha, yeah, Iannicks last name is 'B', but yeah, steele and jon did get a lil jipped, you could see it in jon's eyes on the x games coverage when they flashed to him after peps run, he was like WTF, but pep was pretty solid too, so it wasn't as huge a deal as it could have. The reason for the drop off in scores was a bunch of people started tearing out ACls and stuff, i know raps did, along with one other person, don't remember who.

-If people don't want 'Posers' in their sport they should quit skiing and take up knitting. I highly doubt that anyone 'Poses' as a knitter. -Jibtech
