he's gotta be getting into his late 20's, his body is probably hurtin' and he's looking for a way to make a living independent from skiing.

A lot of skiers (newschoolers and racers) have to deal with the same thing...when to pack it in before u are a cripple and what to do afterwards. For most of these guys it's all they've known for most of their lives and it's a shitty transition.
