cuz people think that just cuz its on ebay, its a collectors item and that the company didnt make alot of that certain thing, so they are willing to pay alot, then prob sell it for more
 
i dont know where u got your link, but you can no longer get these goggles, or any of the retros from oakley. that is why. go to oakley.com, click goggles, then snow, then look, they are not there.

yeah, i guess they are there on backorder. when i searched "retro" they came up. however, if you go to the goggle page, they are not there. so many people probably cannot find them, as i couldnt until i went to extremes looking for them
 
^^no on the top where you select the goggle style just look above and it's like Classic, Asian Fit, Signature Series, and then on the right it's Retro. you click on that and voila

Thats "retro" on the oakley site. Stretches have OAKLEY spelt out on the strap.

 
if you buy those green goggles in your picture they will have oakley written on the strap making them stretch and retro!

k to who ever thinks you can still get these exact same goggles on teh oakley website...YOUR WRONG! YOU CANT! YOU FAIL!

they have teh same FRAMES on the oakley website but they do not have the same STRAP on the oakley website.

pay attention.

well I am going out on a limb, throwing in ALL of my RARE collectibles. first, and this is ON TOP of my previous statement, a rare, 1st addition holographic charzard pokemon card with the miss-printed HP level, a rare piece of wood, from what i could only speculate a splinter from the great duku tree from Zelda,(SUPER RARE ZOMGZ!!!!!!) and the only other thing that i hold near and dear to my heart, my rare 1 footed bearpigman WITH a new rare retro collar!

yeah, beat that, with all that rare, WHAT!!! RARE VALUABLES!!!

thats what i was thinking.....$150 is still high for an ebay item like that but they could sell for pretty close to around $130 i would say..
 
i dare you to go buy a pair of them off the oakley website. they wont have the stretch writing on them that says OAKLEY in old school writing.

i dare you to buy a pair as well. i know multiple people who have bought retro crowbars off the oakley site this year and every single one of them has received a retro/stretch strap with oakley spelled out. please stop making guarantees based on incorrect information.

think about this, have you ever seen a set of neon green crowbars with a neon green strap without the stretch logo? that would be a rare find
 
yes i have.

the strap was very similar to the ones that come with the purple retros just neon green.

there are many fram/strap combos that most people have never seen or heard of.

i have never seen another pair of purple crowbars like mine nor have they been on the website. they are a dark mettalic sparkle purple that im sure are fairly rare. and yesterday i met a guy with black stretch crowbars with mettalic gold outriggers and the stretch strap writing was mettalic gold also. and he did not paint them himself.

there are a few combos of the green stretch crowbars and im positive not all come with teh stretch writing on the strap.
 
ummmm pretty sure, ppl have emailed Oakley.com and asked if the retro/stretch crowbars come with the retro/stretch strap (with "OAKLEY" in big print on the side), and i'm pretty sure ppl have bought from that same oakley site and received the same oakley stretch strap as everyone else. I don't know what delusional world you live in, but welcome to earth where the normal ppl live with normal stretch straps. Discussed, answered, and put away. Please leave it put away (referring to the argument of stretch straps that is)

The purple one has a slightly different strap with a diagonal oakley written across it.

I ordered the black ones with hi-intensity yellow and they have OAKLEY written across the strap.. I saw the neon green w/ pink irid. lenses and OAKLEY on the strap at the store but I didn't buy it because I wanted a different lens. get it?
 
no you are so wrong, it is a computer generated graphic, i just got my stretches and i'm sick of this being debated this is legit the 8th time atleast i've seen this arguement... THE RETRO GOGGLES ON THE SITE COME WITH THE STRETCH STRAP IT HAS OAKLEY WRITTEN ACROSS THE STRAP
