Im an intermediate park skier who is okay at rails but needs to improve on jumps. What camp would be best for me, I want to spend my hard earned money on the best one possible. I live in AK and the parks here suck, so i would really like to improve on my park game so next time I go to PC I can hit up King's Crown and pick n shovel confidently. Thanks.

I'm kinda the opposite of you because I'm comfortable on jumps but my rail game is a D+ (if even that). I chose COC because it seemed to accommodate for all levels, plus they're making their park bigger this year which is dope.

It depends on if you really need to LEARN the tricks or if you feel like you just need to balls up and do it. Windells forsure if you just need to balls up and do it because there is just so much enouragement from everyone.

from experience COC is awesome and i would really recommend it but it is a bit annoying with all the snowboarders but its still pretty chill. i think that as you are quite a long way anyways id try windells

Momentum! Chill atmosphere to learn and great coaches. Plus, the terrain set up has a nice progression of rails and jumps for quick hot laps.

It's kind of both for me. I need to learn the grabs a little better but i also just need to ball up on the bigger tables.

Mount Hood Summer Ski Camps (MHSSC)is the best environment when in your stance. No pressure to be showin off. Peeps are throwin down in our park, and learnin a shitton. Coaches are real and know how to teach. The park last summer had the best tables, windells pros would come to MHSSC's park on their days off to film on our jumps. Usually 20, 30, 50 footers. So if your looking to watch pros ski, and be nervous in the park, paying twice as much, go to windells.

Yeah thats how I felt at Kings's Crown at PC. I happened to go there a day 4bi9 was filming and I about shit my pants, so yeah.

Thanks everybody. I am leaning towards either momentum or windells, and am also curious about Mt. Hood summer ski camps. Please help me decide. +K for any help I get.

this guy is a counselor there. he is chill. a lot like a lot of people you will find there. it is cheaper and focused almost entirely on skiing. no frills but you get a lot of on snow time and actual good coaching for your needs

Okay thanks everybody, i'm now seriously considering going to MHSSC. What are the main differences between it and Windells, besides off slope stuff, I know Windells has more going for it in that category, but i'm mainly just wanting to ski and improve my jump game and learn advanced rail stuff, like pretzels and the like.

i went to momentum and i loved itthe vibe there was dope and the coaches were able to help people of all levels from people just learning and others learning to double flip

mhssc has a better vibe... you will be able to learn plenty. lots of mixed jibs and a good 2 jump line

sounds like newschoolers love jumping on the bandwagon and head for windells, when theres a hidden secret called mhssc..

Windell's was sooo sick! I had mike hornbeck as my coach. I learned a ton and would highly reccomend it

windells has 2 rope tows. i dare you to try and hit jumps as many times hiking then you can getting pulled back up to the top of the jumps.

I would definetly go to MHSSC such a great environment for half the price and the rope tows have really long lines from what ive seen so i would much rather go to MHSSC

There was a 2 jump line both about 30 ft. A variety of rails and boxes, almost anything u can think of. A pipe and some bigger jumps like maybe 50 to 85 ft

two rope tows, best coaches, best location, hood is so nice in the summer, so much to do on the campus, skate bike rollerblade and plus dryslope with rails and bag jump. + all sorts of other actives, what else could you ever want.

Windellsssssss!. Bag jump on and off campus, killer park on the mountain, skateparks tramps, snowflex rails on campus, just cant be beat
