What songs are you using in your edits?

i see at least one thread like this almost each time i check media and arts, ppl aren't gonna tell the songs they're using for their edits

that would ruin the suprise and makes it likely that someone steals your song before you're even able to use it, and ya road to zion isn't super original but if you can pull it off then that'd be sick

the song you use has to flow w/ your edit and clips, dont just take music advice from ppl on ns

agreed ^but still the song gives the edit a kind of uneque personality and if everyones used the same song the edits would definitivly be more boring...just my 2 cents

not completely true, alot of stuff goes into an edit, filming, skiing, editing, song.. editing's very importnat but if the skiing in your edit blows, than no matter how amazing editing it is, its still not gonna be good to watch, songs are also importnat for an edit, most ppl wouldnt wanna watch something with raging heavy metal or classical music

in seven sunny days, the whistler segment had some of the sickest filming and editing.. the dopest shots of the year on the gnarliest jump, but they used some organ music that almost completely ruined the segment for me, songs are very important for an edit or segment and too say that its not is simply ignorant

well i dont really wanna tell you but, oopsi did it again-britney spears and baby got back-sir mix a lot

I really agree with what your saying. While a great skier's skills can overpower any setting that they are shown it, the song does have an effect on the presentation. Watch Sammy's part in Yeah Dude, and then go into the extras and watch it with the other song. Same tricks, same order, new beat...completely different if you ask me.
