hey, i've had these pretty ghetto skis for two years but there pretty good. THere 148s. there really buttery. They have like 5 ollie bands. There also really lite. There the litest skis that all my friends had seen. there getting like really small. there up to my chest. I need skis that are pretty buttery, LITE, CHEAP, and i usualy like em short. I ve seen a lota skis online but u cant really tel if der good er not.

What are you looking to do with them? Mostly park? The bamboo core skis are pretty light (on3p, liberty), both are good brands., although not the cheapest.
A quick search yielded this:
Department of goods:160 Rossi S3 - 300158 Scott P3 - 350160 Dynastar TroubleMakers - 250
Evogear:150/160 Rossi S2 -270 158 Rossi S1 -216
getboards:166 Line Afterbang -300161 Line Anthem - 279167 4frnt Click - 279
Your local shop:Probably screamin' deals on last years skis
Also "sniagrab" is coming up if you live in Denver or Salt Lake..

I would think he would need longer skis though...

Even though he's used to the short skis, I'm sure he'd like longer skis more. I would say skis between 165 and 172 or so.

for that price range you really wont be able to find a new ski that can do everything. Anthems seem like a good choice tho if you can find them. They'll be able to handle a little powder and should be fun and buttery in the park.

i dont really care if i get new skis er not. i was thinkin about the old line invaders or other older models. Ski shops will just be tryin to get rid of em. i dont care if i get used skis either. im just worried that ill show up to the ski shop and they dont have good twin tips. thas y im goin in like next week to see wat i can find
