What skis to bring to CO next week?

I'm leaving for Colorado next Thursday for spring break, I am mainly gonna be riding bikes but bringing my skis to ride with some homies and my sister for a day or so. either at Powderhorn, Copper, or Crested. I have Vishnu Wets and Surface Balance pow skis but I can only bring 1 pair cuz we gotta fit 3 bikes and camp gear and other shit and my sister's skis in the truck.

Planning on just doing mixed riding between park and trees and groomers, I can do it all with either pair of skis but just want some input. CO homies pipe up and lmk how the snow is 'round those parts

Bring the pow skis, copper has a sick park but their big mountain isn’t talked about enough

Kinda the way I am leaning, plus if I wanna cruise some

park laps the pow skis will get the job done

little bit of a rough ski selection for CO. i know we are looking at a bit more snow this sunday but i'm not sure after that. i think i heard somewhere more was in the forecast.

i'd make a night-before decision; only bring the 122s if there is snow in the forecast. otherwise, you're looking at prime park season, and acceptable conditions for the 88s everywhere else.

sounds good, I'll be watchin next weeks weather

keep checking weather it’s supposed to snow but it also might get warm. one of the worst skiing days of my life was a 14 inch dump the day before at copper and it warmed up to 45 the following day. if it’s gunna get into the 40s or warmer i’m leaving my pow skis at home

Honestly really liked my wet plus’s in thigh deep pow. My vote is on the wets unless you know it’s gonna dump. Worst case rent a pair of pow skis if you get a surprise dump. Can’t rent wets.

If you’re in Crested Butte don’t bring your wets, especially if you’re going to be skiing the steep and deep. They just don’t have enough stiffness to hold a line on the steep runs w as big of moguls as are there right now. But, if you’re skiing the park and only the park go with the Wets for sure

Surfing slush and hot pow on wide skis is awesome. Make sure to wax with appropriate temp range.

How pow is still pow. Wax and you'll be money.

If there's snow in the forecast, pow skis are the move. If not, wets.

OP you're in a rough spot. Are you sure sure you can't just fit both? Two pairs of skis aren't that much more than one.

CB and powderhorn have pretty small parks, and you WILL need a something stiff for CB.

Stiff is essential for CB
