Whatever you can find on discount, as long as it's not Madtrix. Mad trix are freaking awesome skis, but they sure as hell ain't light.

Why does everybody feel the need to build their own skis now? it seems like every 16 yr old jibber on the planet now has their own pro model. if you ask me, you're all a bunch of pussies that can't ski anyway.

well sorry i cant run away from home and live somewhere better

I didn't know i was fucking with a little guy. so sorry. but yes, you should do your parents a favor and run away to a ski town. it will be the best move you ever made. just don't come to squaw. you'll hate it.

you should definitely look into some Olin Mark IV's, they are light and don't have any of that 'sidecut' crap, and they're cheap (just check the back room of your local ski shop or salvation army!). I think the 210cm length would be good for your height too.

check out Stept...

Irie don't talk about shit you dont know about. Surface isnt some peice of shit out of a kids basement. Are you ignorant or are you just fucking retarded?

^ yeah but the white graphics on the surface skis do suck my friend, tell me how are you supposed to find those if they come off in the backcountry, they're the same color as the snow. And cmon man, the name surface? Surface of what? Thats pretty lame.

and more, much more than this, I did it my way

I think the graphics are sick, I dont really plan on using them in the BC that much, so I'm not too worried. But honestly, I have never found my ski in the pow because of its color. My scratches were black and I still couldn't see them, its all about following the tracks and digging. And who cares what the name is, that is about as trivial as the graphic. Kids these days.....

i have a pair of snowblades too, with them,is it better to have snowblade bindings or ski bindings?

i was just getting a pair of skis this year because i didnt like snowblades

there are some great line skis out there, depending on whether you want to be in the park or on the mtn...well the 1260s are mad light and a fun ski, i had them for a year...thats really the only line model i would suggest for you, the skogens are for out west and so are the motherships, the mike nicks are too long and heavier and the mavericks arent a full twin tip. but at the same time you never know what models will be coming out from line for this year good luck
