What skis should I get?

I want to get new skis for next year and have some ideas, but I need some oppinions on a good ski. First off I ski on the east coast 95% of the time, and I hit powder every time it is available (which is not a whole lot). I really need an all-mountian ski that will not suck on groomers because 1/4 of the year thats what I am stuck doing . Of course I need a ski that will do good in the park too and im willing to give up some all mountian performance. I have thought about the 4frnt MSPs but I think they are too wide for what I do, but thats the only ski I have considered so far.

Sorry If my bad way of saying things made it difficult to understand what I am trying to say but I hope I can get some good suggestions.

karmas would be tight or some vicious would work too...im in the same position as u and i ski the karmas with axial 120s and i love them

I have been skiing for the past 11 years, so I think im pretty experienced and a good skiier. But I only have about 1 year really progressing in the park, im 5'7" 140 pounds too.

I think ill check out the PEs more or the karmas.

those three came straight into my head as i was reading.

with your size and weight they will all work pretty well. TM is the softest of the three, pe and karma i think are pretty similar but the karma to me is a more fun ride. if you really want to slay it when powder does hit consider the big trouble.

oh and wait for next seasons TM's they have the sturdier edges.

omg get some 177 karmas mounted +3 or +4 and youll love them...they ski so much nicer than pes...

THe karmas look like a good ski to me and im thinking seriously about buying them now, but the suggested size of 177...isnt that a little big?

im 6'1 175 and i have the 177s but they feel too short and i have them at recommened mounting spot..ull definately be fine with 177s mounted +3 or +4

sorry for kind stealing the thread but I don't wanna make a new one, just a quick question... does anyone know the weight of the karmas in relation to the PEs??

im not sure the exact weight, but from what i felt i thought the karmas were a tad lighter

i actually just purchased some 180 MSP's yesterday and rode them today for the first time. I am prolly gonna use them quite a bit in the park. I really enjoyed the way they ride. It was just a little wierd for me b/c i had STL's before these so they seem pretty stiff but that is just because of the skis i have been on for the last 2 years. I think you should definatly go with the MSP.

arv, seth vivious, karma, or chronic blend would all work. And dont worry about fattness. 95mm really isnt that big for everyday. you get used to it and then will hate skinny skis.

Well if your not a salomon hater like alot of people on this site id go foil. you may hear all this bullshit about foam cores sucking but its all fuckshit. The foils are great in the park and all over the mountain and can handle the powder for sure. Id deff look into them if i were u.

If we're talking salomon, 1080 foils are a good choice and you can take them anywhere, but if you want extra width go with the 1080 gun
