I'm going out to The Canyons in March and it will be my fist time out there. I own a pair of Chronics i was thinking of taking but wasn't sure how they would suit me out there. i was just looking for recommendation on what you think is a good choice for out there or if my Chonics will be fine.

Line Opus in a size above your head. May as well get a pow ski for going out to Utah, heard it crushes in everything, has Pollards name on it, what more do you want?

Are you visiting or moving out here? If you are just visiting I would demo some pow skis. My arvs (92 waist) did not do utah pow justice and I got thrown forward a bunch from tip dive. You want something with a 120ish waist with a pretty good amount of rocker.

Depending on if I got enough cash by march to by yle's you can borrow my line prophet 130's if you have a bsl around 318 and if you got the legs muscle to drive those beast. If you post in the utah regional someone should be able to hook up a fellow NSr.

Shit here is insane and you will have a awesome time guaranteed.

If you're just visiting, I would get a rental from AJ Motion Sports. Their locations are:

So they have one basically at the bottom of Little Cottonwood, Big Cottonwood, and Parley's Canyon. They have always helped me in the past and given em excellent deals on skis. They also are very accommodating. I'm sure they can not only help you find a ski that is good or the current conditions when you come out here, but they probably would also let you swap skis to try something new if what they originally give you doesn't work out for your skiing style, ability, or conditions.
