What skis have a durable top sheet???

i have some ninthward butters 06 and they suck!! the topsheets are falling apart! lol anybody looking to buyin some 9wards i would say no until they get the top sheets fixed.. hopefully the new ones dont have this same prob... i wanna find a good park ski that has a durable top sheet as well as a kick ass ski as well...

i want a flexible ski that is still stiff enough to stomp switch landings and butter... any body have some suggestions?

any help come people would be helpful to me.. thanks!!

 
i have 9ward Mik D Pro Rookys and Firstbloods, and i agree the topsheets chip super easily, the second day on my mik ds they were already a mess, but i think they are the best park skis ive ever been on by FAR, and the fact that the topsheet is chipping isnt a huge deal to me. i havent been on butterliciouses, but i gotta say dont disregard 9s just cause of the topsheet issue
 
Dynastar skis topsheets hold together like no other. They may chip on the edges if you're hard on them, but no delam problems or topsheet problems.
 
ya i agree... the butters hve been a fucking dope ski... i would honestly they besides the top sheet on the butters... they have been the best ski so far i have been on.. ive been on pe's, fujatives, rossi's, and ar5s... they are the lighest ski and are so fun to ride... i hope they change the top sheet for the new skis... anybody have any of hte new 9's? if you do what are the top sheets like?
 
you like the spk's.... what do they ski like... havn't heard much bout them.. nobody around here has any salomon expect for the dumonts and i guess those are sick... might look at those or the spk for next season.. maybe get a good deal on end of season sales... lol i dont care what they look like.. grahpics are what ur paying for each new year so.. rather save money...
 
lol volkl seem like race skis to me.. haha nobody rocks those around my hill either.. i heard they hold up very well though... damn to many choices...
 
i dont have them but my freind does and there kinda soft but have a lot of pop apreantly. there really skiny to. id go with the thruster personaly or the dumont
 
my k2 fujis topsheet delammed after 15 days. i had dynastar nothin but troubles and they held up real well, should be same with the tms
 
topsheet durability should be one of the last things you consider when buying a ski. Obviously delam is going to be a bitch, but mere chipping? It's a ski, not your grandma's tea set. Of course it's going to get fucked up when you're flying through the air whacking them together, and sliding along pieces of metal. If it has a chip, throw a sticker over it or something.

You should be considering things like edge durability, camber, mounting plate strength, and price more.

 
well no fucking shit u dumbass... those are A. your top things to look for... but im sick of buying a awsome ski that fucking chips away the 1st week you have them... i would like to find a ski that is killer in the park and that doesnt chip so easily... fuck lol do you have a to be a fucking asshole? lol no shit your not fucking trying to keep your park skis in cond. of fucking race skis your dipshit... you obv. are going to have dam. but i was seeing what type of skis will tend to hold upt he best... aka brands and models... example like ninthward chips really easy.. and line use to delam but now its fixed... and what other people say about hte skis such as salomons holding up pretty well and still are kick ass skis... lol wow... all i have to say is wow..
 
well youre a dick but im not so i'll tell you that my fujatives have held up the three years and each year ive had like 50 plus days a season. also if youre just chipping your top sheets its probably just you kicking your skis together on the lift so you should check out the public enemies with the ptex top sheets so you can fix them whenever you get chips.
