What skis for a begginer?

So much more information is needed from you before a useful recommendation can be given

e.g.

Height, weight, age, ability, where you ski, what percentage park you will be skiing (i.e do you want a park specific ski?), budget etc

Also get boots before you get skis

Outside of the above, and from a price basis alone, maybe look at some fujatives, thrusters etc

But yeah mang, post more info and people will be able to help you out

Ok so I'm 14 years old,. 171cm and like 64kg.

Yeah I mainly want the ski for park, but i'd also like it to work on slopes and bc a bit.

Well, and why should I get boots first?

Get boots first because good skis are wasted on ill fitting shitty rental boots.

And throwing in a ski recommendation for the K2 Silencers.

boots are the most important part of your setup, having your own anyway. You should get boots before you get skis, you're feet will thank you after a day of skiing

Dogens are last years ski, not made any more - i believe the Ledge replaced them

A good price point ski, fairly soft..decent for what you are looking for..

NO point spending heaps of cash on skis+bindings etc and then renting some shitty boots..if anything buy boots that fit you and buy some second hand skis from here of ebay or something

i rock the 1080 flyers and there amazing, either spend shit load and get brand new bindins or get last years bindings. i have rossi bindings on mine or get the saloman sth binding

Rossi Scratch FS WRS might be a good choice (2007). You could pick up a pair at 171, they're light, and good park & all mountain. Go pretty cheap brand new now, too (~$250)

u probably would like Line Invaders 08 model, they have good pop and nice lightness, good for allaround park and have dope for buttering

Get the fujative. It's a better ski. Idn if you care about cosmetics but the dogen topsheet peel soff in like a day, then you can see the base and pieces of crap on the top of the ski.

Here's my ranking.

Invader

Scratch

Silencer/fuji/flyer

Invader first? You gotta be kiddin' me. But yeah, Scratches then Fujis, sounds good. But invaders??!?!?!?!

ya i started off with the rossi scratch pros and they were good for a couple of years. but they got to small so i recently bought the rossi ghettos.

I started off on some Elan Mo2's. They were really great skis, contrary to what others say. Super flexy, durrable, fun and poppy.

Then I had some Rossignol Scratch Pros. I didnt like these as much. Not as much flex as I would have liked, but a fun ski.

After those, I got some Armada T-Halls. Really great skis all over the place. They carved well, but got a little squrily at high speeds. Great in the park, but I would have liked something a little stiffer on jumps.

Now I'm on a pair of Ar6's, which I have yet to ride.

I have about 450$, so I've been looking at last year models.

I've been loking for

Rossi Scratch FS WRS 07 but I cant find them anywhere.

I ski about 80% park , 20 % bc. So u think Fujative 07 would be much more better than Dogen? or mabye I should get some other skis?

no  i was asking lyndon cause i thought he was way old but it dont look like it so i was asking. sorry for the confusion
