What skis do you want to see on Roofbox Reviews?

Simple question really, what skis do you want to see reviews of? We're already in the process of reviewing quite a few skis already but I wanted to check there was nothing we've missed that a load of you want to know more about.

K2 reckoner?

Also check out the gear recommendations by people and do some on the skis most commonly mentioned but that are difficult to find for demoing. That's always a tough decision for folks buying a ski without skiing it. I know roof box reviews have helped me in the past

New faction CT 1 and 2, faction LA MACHINE, armada white walker, revolt / bash 86, and maybe making some comparison series, like where 3 common skis are and see how they compare, eg CT 2.0, Poacher, Blend, or something like that

Jeffrey 96. Blister doesn’t have it and it’s really hard to find firsthand info and good reviewer info on how it compares around the field.

Spent my "park half" of the day on bent chetler 100, gotto say they are good in the air/landings, and even on boxes, still so new I cringe about the rails as they have edges still :p

Fairly stiff for a so light ski so they dont noodle out on my variable landings. Skied with another guy on same skis, he was sending it pretty hard.

Shaggys Ahmeek 105. Heard great things performance wise but curious as to how they would hold up with you guys beating on them for a while.

Vishnu wet and wide plus, and Magnus 102

All three of these skis are ones I'd love to get on the Roofbox. I've been asking ON3P consistently for several seasons about getting someone on a Magnus 102 and not heard back. I would also love to get a review of Lucas' new ski if it's finally dropping. Watch this space. I asked Vishnu about both the Plus Skis at the beginning of this season and they said no. I hope both brands do decide to get involved again.

[tag=229241]@patagonialuke[/tag] I definitely want to try and get on a Bentchetler 100 for a longer term test, I'm waiting to hear back on those. I'd also definitely like to get the Surface Royale/Giv'r on the feet of one of our testers, hopefully I can arrange that having seen the interest here. Movement would also be an interesting option, I'll talk to them. Thanks guys, keep these coming!

any known dates for publishing?

We generally start pushing these out weekly, or twice a week, from the first week of September.

Not a specific ski but a really useful tool would be a ski comparison chart of some kind, no idea how you'd make it work but I think it could be super useful for making choices.

Like I'm currently torn between the K2 Poacher or the Line Chronic, love aspects of both but a side by side with your opinions having ridden both would be helpful I think...

Poacher=heavier, more durable, stiffer, holds a better edge/better all mountain ski

Chronic=lighter, less durable, softer, more accessible/better for butters, “swerve” skiing

I guess I mean more of a kind of comparable points or rating system for those more esoteric traits that are less measurable, kinda like on a video game e.g: Stiffness, Playfulness, Edge Hold, Top Speed, Durability, Overall Flex, Pop, Stability etc

I know the numbers would be pretty arbitrary as they're not really measurable characteristics but like how much playfulness and pop am I losing moving from a Chronic to trhe Poacher, or how much extra stability, that kinda thing...

Might help people compare different skis from a similar ballpark more easily? Just a thought

Ohhhh I see what you mean. Yeah twould be arbitrary just because there’s no “standard” to compare things too yanno but for sure a good idea

Could you plz share how much stiffer/softer they are comparing to current year versions?

I haven't flexed the CT 2.0, but the Prodigy 3.0 felt notably softer in the tips and tails than the previous version. The previous Prodigy 3.0 was a very stiff ski, while I'd call the 20/21 version a bit closer to "average" in terms of flex for an all-mountain freestyle ski. It's no noodle (still quite stiff around the bindings), but it doesn't stand out as much in terms of flex vs. the previous version.
