I have the silver 1080s from last year, too.

they've been good to me.

they were my first twin twip. I got them because rated as one of the best skis on the market, and I liked the design.

It was a toss up between 1080's and the scratches.

I'll probably stick with them.

188 scratch BC's, because i love off piste, and so do my skis. also, i like some good ole fashion power on the curdory which this supplies failry well. however now i am in a dillema with moguls, either the old mad trix 172, or concept 180?

183 old enemys cause i broke my old skis and i need them fast and they were only 200$ plus when they brake i should be able to get free skis out of them. they suck though cause i used them like 9 time and they are mad flexy already.

01 177 teneighties cause when I bought them they were some of the best skis out there and I got a good deal, and because I can't afford to buy anything new yet. Hopefully V-Explosives, Pistols, ARVs, Super Nobis, or Stomps (if their new bindings are sweet) in the future.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day
 
the ski market is flooded with products just demo whatever u can and try to make as educated a decision as possible. volkl is an educated design, great service, stiff wood core, variable dimensions cause of all the different skiis. u cant go wrong

169cm 1080, cuz I got them for fairly cheap on EBAY brand new, and they are saft enough for the park, yet stiff enough for the groomers, and they'll perform in powder too. Just a great ski for my size, cuz I'm 5'8' and 150.

1260 cause it was the only symetrical ski on the market and i only paid $400 w/ bindings. im getting the pollards because i want a longer, stiffer ski.

I have my friends old racing atomics (my friend is getting sponsored by head and gave me her skis) and my brother's old bandits(it was my dad and brother's year to get new skis). not too bad for someone who's been skiing since they were 2 eh? but this year I'm getting a twin tip of some sort. prob PE's

the mad_trix ar not symmetrical, the tail is narrower than the tip, which in turn causes them to ski like a piece of poo if you flip those bastard bindings they have

03 1080 181cm, cuz i like the graphix and the shape of the ski. At first, i was going to buy scratch, but they were out of stock. So i just bought 1080 and got them cheap too. About 430$ CND if i remember.

 
straight 195s and 210s. twintipped by me. i use them simply because long skis are awsome, and they require skill unlike you 170cm fags..

 
the madtrix (before this season so the black and white ones) were the same which is why madtrix system worked!

What do you mean the 'same', mo-rod?! Like symmetrical? Why the fuck would you have a binding that flips around (MadTrix system) on a ski that was symmetrical?!?!? It'd be the same width either direction dumbass. If they wanted to change the position of the binding, it'd be easier just to slide it up and down the track.

 
check the skiis. the reason they are symmetrical and switchable was for ppl to switch the inside edge. cause if u slide rails one way some edges get messed up, so u flip the binding around and u can ski on an edge that isn't messed up

actually the reason for the reversable binding was for an 'big mountain' and 'big air' mode of the ski. with the wider shovel and longer tip forward, it is in big mountain mode, with the narrower shovel and shorter tip forward, it is in big air mode, almost center mount, giving you a longer tail for more equal weight distribution

I ride line, because I learned on them and every other type of ski I've demo'd seems heavy or too soft. Also because line has a great group of guys, and they give me a deal.
