What skis do you ride, and why?

There are always lots of posts regarding this ski versus another, whats the best twin etc, so..

Everyone name the skis they ride and why. Then people can get an idea of people opinions, and make their own minds up- is it due to price, grpahics, based on testing, sponsership etc?

personally its the 171 1080. I tested these, enemies, scratch and 1260s, and for the price i decided on 10s due to their versatility all round the hill, and i liked the way they felt in the park - stable, light and not too pricey

1260s cause i had broken every other brand of skiis, and i could trade my warentied pair of skiis for another at the shop, and i hadn't tried line, so i got them and i like them and i ski on them now

175cm Pocket Rockets. I ride mostly powder, with the occaisonal park. I love to hit drops and stuff and these are the best pair of skis I've ever ridden.

1080's, which i know everyone skis on them, but they are a very versatile ski

last years silver teneighties.... liked them when i demoed them for a couple days, and plus they have a such a fat dimensions (head, waist and tail) that they make a kick ass all mountain ski, they can cut through the crap off trail snow that my mountain has alot of the year. and they do fairly well in deep snow when you ski fast enough..oh and their light as hell

03 scratch BC 182. I ride these becuase i got them really really dirt cheap from a rider brand new, otherwise i would not ride 182 BC's in Ontario......

03 171 tens but in retrospect i shouldnt have gotten em because i live on the east coast with no powder and it is a really fat ski. so u cant carve and i like to do that once in a while, but i got the 720s now also so that should take care of that

I skied on the 1080 171 space fram because I wanted out of my atomics (sorry rex), plus I was offered a great deal and given a partial sponsorship. now I ride for volkl cause I like the wood core, stability, less obvious sidecut, service and warranty. the other reason was that volkl offered me a better deal than anyone else.

PEs becuase they are a solid ski with a wider waist than most skis sold around here and hopefully will hold up well

airstyle nt's because i demoed 1080s and i weigh 200 so i needed a stiffer ski but i liked the dimensions, so i was going to get volkls or nt's and i found a deal on the nt's from a guy in boulder with the last name strode.....wish i would have waited and got 4frnts though

04 scratch bc 188.. because last year i broke my pow airs and sent them back, then the only scratches they had were bc 188.. and i was like.. whatever.. then i learned to love them and they rip.. then i broke them.. so i got this years last year which is pretty much the same ski.. yeah

PE 169cm because i got them for 297 and are the best ski for the deal. length was because i live in wisconsin and need a short ski for the little jumps but wide enough to hit the pow when i go outwest. overall i think its the best ski for the money, o yeah and the PE's represent the midwest

i had 03 1080's for the first half of last season then i got hte pistols and sold them this summer cause they were to soft, and now i just bought scratch bc's, hopefully i'll like them, if not then i might try the motherships
