What I’m most nostalgic about in this thread is the sheer variety of skis that we used to have available. Every brand had a unique feel and was constantly rotating in new models… a lot of which were downright weird and definitely wouldn’t get made today. Looking at you Afterbang…
I’m like 90% positive the Soul 7 killed the mainstream ski industry, I have no evidence to back this up other than feelings and vibes.

At the time they were considered a pow ski at 95 underfoot. I used them in the park and was told they were too wide to be a park ski. Times have obviously changed though I think they would still be a great park ski today.
