I ski my skis until they break so much that it is dangerous for me to be riding them. Unfortunately that was only half a season for my Afterbangs. I was more than happy to replace them with FR's I mounted with FKS 180's I stole for 100 shipped

AR7 w/griffon (hopefully, trying to get in contact with the rep) and chronics griffon schizo 100%. Two fun skis. Possibly a mantra/bonifide? keeping my fingers crossed :)

amazing skis mate been riding them this year and still in pretty decent condition there gona be my urban and dryslope skis for next year

Quick question, recently my dad bought me el reys in 164 as an early birthday present., im 5 10, 140 lbs, and this is really my first year getting really involved in the park. is 164 too small?

164's fine, especially for your first year in the park. Save yourself the hassle and just stick with those.

No aha just the FKS, I bought the FR's full price. I got the FKS from here, they didn't have brakes if that is a big deal or not?

Way too stoked for this season. And for the record, I did not try to match colors, I actually hate the look of the Morrisons haha

I am looking for a charging ski with early rise/rocker in the tip, and a flat, stiff tail. I am thinking traditional sidecut but am not sold one way or the other. Any recommendations?

Technically much of this is already bought and paid for, but if all goes well I should be on some 2012 181 armada pipe cleaners with tyrolia peak 18s and some 2010 191 on3p caylors with look pivot 18s or sth 16/916s.

question :

I'm considering either the arv the domain or the punx

I know they are diffenret skis but they all gear towards my style of skiing

I ski maybe 70%park and 30% groomers

when Im in the park I'd say 50% rails 50%jumps but I want a slighlty buttery ski

so ?

I've tried the ARV my firend had and it skis very similar to my AR7(more park oriented and better overall ski for quality) but is wider underfoot so if you go with Armada I'd say go for the AR7 unless you plan to ski a decent amount of powder, which ARVs will work great for too. Domains are another great choice, I used to ride K2s and they are quality, they lasted me 2 and half years of hard skiing until the edge ripped out of the nose. K2s will be more buttery(actually very buttery IMO)the Ar7s are stiff enough for jumps but have a nice snappy butter and flex for nollies etc. Punx on the other hand are great! I have not skied on them but I hear they are fun, they are stiff and geared more towards jumps from what I hear.

All great skis. If you pick one tell me which, because I want to know for future reference in my own purchasing.

Definitely buying K2 Domains. Love the 90 base, fully symmetrical dems, park rocker and play. Any downsides people know of?
