What skiers inspire you?

some skiers that really inspire me are ashley battersby, meg olenick and keri herman. they have come to the top of their game and still goin farther which amazes me cause its kinda hard out there for woman skiers. they might not throw down like the big boys do, but to me they go big. im always watchin their edits and watchin them compete in comps to see what tricks and style is comin new to the game. i slowly work on what i see them do in edits and it really does make me a better skier. ashley is the biggest inspiriation though. she first started skiing at my home mountain (GrandGeneva) until she was ready to move to utah, and now look at her. I would say she has the biggest name in womans freestyle skiing.
so thanks to these gals, ill hopefully be throwin new spins and grabs this season and i cant wait.
so tell me what skier inspire you...

ya, even some random skiers what will motivate me and push me to do things i wouldnt normally do insprire me. dont like the cocky kids that act like they are better than you cause they can throw a 7 and you cant.

tanner hall- he just doesn't stop, and focuses on every aspect of skiing.

dane tudor- reminds me of a young t-hall, slays in the park and even harder in the BC.

adam delorme- just love this guys style, like the other people i mentioned he slays every aspect of skiing.

tanner hall - overcomes so many different challenges and always comes back and is just out there to have fun

B&E - do what they want to and what they think is cool, not what comp judges think is cool, hate on their tall tees and shit but you have to respect them

andy parry - so creative, another guy just out there having fun, not really doing comps. giving back to the community with an awesome webshow that is TC. same for wesson and he is a super nice guy

and everyone on stept definitely influences my park skiing

Bobby Brown, super nice guys, always stoked and everyone, which was really sick seeing as he could have just schooled all of us.

Mack Jones is also really sick. Coming out of the east coast and just killing it. Watch for him in The Voleurz movie "that's fine" And in The toy soilder movie "set your sights"

hell yeah. B-dog ftw.

Dane Tudor, Ashley Battersby, Garrett Russell, Tanner Hall, Jossi Wells

b & e because theyre doing their own thing and getting hate but still being the illest and most creative skiers out there.

nick martini because he grew up skiing shitty new hampshire mountains like me and look where he is now and he has a sick style

ERIK OLSON, in my eyes, is the unsung hero of skiing. he may not be out competing, or putting together banger edits, or have sponsors drooling over him, but you can tell skiing is what he loves. he is always smiling when he skis, and i have seen him tackle all aspects of the sport. he is the kind of skier i want to be.

It was crazy inspiring to see tom wallisch blow up on the internet and dominate park skiing single handedly coming from a shitty little mountain in pennsylvania (roundtop).

Eric pollard, simply because of who he is and what he does on skis (no homo)CR johnson, what more inspiration do you need than a guy who fought his way back out of a coma, straight back to the top and is now watching you from above on every descent you make ! RIP !

T-Hall, best skier in the world ? and does his own thing and made it to the top by doing so + he speaks his heart !

Charley ager, skibum royale and charges/stomps harder than anyone else + he has a whack style :)

TJ schiller: probably one of the best guys to represent the sport, he's basically the perfect ambassador of the sport, even my grandma would fall for the charms of mr Schiller .... ;)

And of course my biggest role model, both in skiing, but even more in life in general, Mr Shane Mcconkey !

Will Wesson. He is a ninja samurai aztec warrior. Keeps quiet and lets his skiing talk for him. I wish I could keep my mouth shut like that.

Tom wallisch. Just watching him go from nobody to a big name in freeskiing is inspiring. Also watching his superunknown video in 2007 it was motivated me to switch from racing to the park. Probably watched that video well over 100 times and it got me stoked to try things in the park.

Rory Bushfield because he is a badass skier and is an all around good athlete. Also he married Sarah Burke, so he wins

Ryan hawks- because he is always smiling. Cr-because he showed that everday should be fun and to enjoy what you have. Shane-because he showed you should always have fun. Traveling circus crew- because they show that skiing is about being with friends and having fun

Individual:

Tanner Hall

Phil Casabon & Henrik Harlaut aka B&E

Eric Pollard, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre aka Nimbus

i would have to go with andy parry and will wesson. theyre not my fav skiers, but most inspiriing. go out there, have fun, and seem so chill.

Nick Martini - Not only does he have insane style, flow, and the ability to slay any feature, he also is an insane filmer/editor. I don't always strive to become a better skier, but I am always trying to become better with the camera and he definitely inspires me for both. Thanks Nick!

He's also a really cool dude. I talked with him at jib academy and him, mike clarke, and tommy ellingston are all awesome. Adding all 3 of them to my people that inspire me list.

Charley Ager because hes out there for the love of the sport, and he tries to go as big as he can without getting killed. Also everyone on nimbus.

the ones that have soo much fun it just makes you want to be there with them. shane had it down and now west has that kind of vibe also

Shane - Showing the world of skiing that it doesn't have to be serious and always having a good time.

CR - Showing us that we can muster the strength to come back from a serious injury back on top of our game.

so true, I saw Bobby Brown at A-Bay early season once, and I was hiking the same rail as him, and he was talking to everyone, and just a real cool guy to everyone

cr because of his story and his lust for life and skiing. talk about someone who overcame a lot of obstacles just to do what he loves.

shane because of his personality. he showed us all not to take ourselves too seriously, plus he fucking shredded. squaw's not the same without him (cr too for that matter).

and candide because of how he skis. everytime i watch one of his edits i just want to go out and charge harder than i ever have before. hes been killing it all over the mountain for longer than a lot of todays more one dimensional pros have even been known.
