i think pollard has his own style which is really sick i also like tanners and jons style

Jon is super text book, dont get me wrong but i think it is 'too' perfect. I realy like candide's d-spins...2/3 phills are by far most style skiers out there....have you seen the d-spin 7 in skimovie 2 at last year wssi, it was sooo sick...nice and slow, and super huge...also switch cork 5.......aaaahhhhhh

Pollard doesnt have the greatest style...on rails maybe. His inside out grabs kind of suck. He may do those rodeos/ flatspin things well, but thats all i'm seeing, its the same thing over and over, he doesnt flail or anything on those but its just predeictable what hes going to do.

he needs to learn that crossing his skis isnt a bad thing once in a while. But it doest matter now does it, because its 'his style.' He doesnt do anything that makes me go 'wow,' tanner, or jon do things with nice style though, and push their level of tricks to another level each season.

 
pollard does his grabs, other than the inside out, very sutbley(sp, i am trying to spell that word where he does it but not very much/exageratrded) he does a japan but dosent tweak it...he also does a tiny crossed mute to fakie.

J()nes, how is Jon text book? Is there a text book out there? I dont think so! Freeskiing is about NOT having a text book. He's definately clean but I think text book is the wrong word.

mabe text bok was wrong, i ment that his tricks look so perfect, his crosses are all perfect 'X' and his tricks are never flail at all, i dont think this is bad but i like a litle arm movage to look give the sense of speed or height...

jon olsson's smooth style is just sweet. he's definently one of the top skiiers out there, with cr, vinnie, pollard, and tanner.

dissin on pollard...uhh...this thread is who has the best STYLE...not who does the most tecnical tricks...so again...i say pollard...but if it were tecnical tricks, ide have to say jon...

i agree about Jon Olson, and a few agreed with me when I last mentioned it on this forum. His d-spins are perfect, I mean, they are what a d-spin is - there's nothing he does to it to make it his own. I'm not saying this is a bad think, I just don't really like it.

I love Candide's style. It's completely different. very agressive and broken down, yet at the same time smooth and cat like.

Belenger or Candide, i downloaded candide's video from salomon TV. its so sick and Belenger has crazy style in the pipe. Mickeal deschenaux is wicked sick too

Pollard... His try going of a jump 45k/hr do a huge zero with grab and not flail a single bit in the air then stomp it super smooth....

I respect skogen for innovation and how he does tricks that no one else does.

I respect candide for his overall making everything look sick.

Belanger, and desenuax (however u spell it) are also way up there, they have enough balls to throw a huge 540 in a big air comp, instead of a switch rodeo 9 tap grab or whatever.

Woods for being sick east coast

Ostness for throwing tech in the backcountry

vinny and julien laffroge also very styleeee

 
Style is very personal thing. Personally, I don't like style from guys like Pollard and Mike Nick -- too crouched and uncomfortable in the air. I think it's the French kids with the style -- Cusson, Auclair, Paquette, Denis, Thovex, etc.

 
For the Park I love CR...He takes skiing to the next level along with Jon and Tanner and others.

You got to give it up for the backcountry people too. Seth Morrison makes sweet turns and his lincolns off cliffs are super sick.

I like Pollards style, but don't get me wrong becasue he is my favort skier but he just seams like a Skiboarder on 171s

I failed my gr7 LA-spelling class, so I don't give a F*ck if I spelt some thing wrong.
 
chris turpin has mad style, carves every hit even his strait airs. i think everyone is gonna be suprised by his footy from this year. really suprised

no! pollard does not ski like a skiboarder, in my opinion his style is much more durived from the snowboard side of things. he rides with a lot of snowboarders and that style obviouly rubs off on him. and yes i know he used to skiboard but skiboarders have a frootbooter style.

yeah sometimes jon olsson does tricks that are like supermodels,

perfect but not really anything special about them (his d-spins fx)

but other times he puts loads of his own personal style in it

(propaganda switch 180, lincoln japan, switch misty 9,

switch lincoln) .

Larose and belanger are super smooth and stylie, but Pollard is on is own class.

light on his feet when he lands, very gracefull in the air and landing... smooth and adgile (sp?)... and like on his corked 540 tails he just kind of drops out of the ski to his feet when you think he'd land on his back... it's unreal to watch the guy ski in person, such a wierd yet amazing style.

candide, pollard, belanger and vinnie have sick style. i agree with u on Jon, hes almost to perfect. i think mike wilson has some sweet style he looks alot like pollard in the air, and considering hes only like 15 and can huck twice as good as almost eveeryone here...

 
yeah cat-like is a great way to describe candide I think. I can't think of anyone who skis like him. I got an inkling he's gonna have some awesome segments this fall, new sponsor and all.
