this song sounds super familiar and I am about 90% sure I've heard it in a ski video, but I can't remember which one for the life of me and it's really bugging me.

The part that sounds familiar (the drop) is at about 1:15. does this sound familiar to anyone else? it's a pretty dirty song

Seeing as the song is unreleased, i dont think anyone has used it yet. Pretty Lights songs tend to sound similar to other songs he makes, so you might just be thinking about another song that has been in an edit and tons of people have used pretty lights.
 
Yeah, I don't think I've seen it in a familiar video. But it def has a pretty similar dubstep to other songs.

imo pretty lights has really gone downhill since his first 2 albums. taking up your precious time was unique and diverse and really mixed mellow hip hop beats with really cool jazzy samples with a little electronic sound thrown in. pretty much all of his new shit sounds similar. sample with wompy beat with some piano thrown in. i dunnoh i guess i just think his new music sounds a lot more... cocky, for lack of a better word.
