So im 6 foot 190 and am an advanced skier out of the park but am just doing the basics in the park (Some boxes and rails, 180s, 360s). I probably ride 70 park 30 mountain so I need something that can handle the entire mountain as well as the park but mostly just the park. I currently ride salomon suspects (yes i know theyre crap thats why im getting new skis) and i only want to spend $400 because my parents will freak if I spend any more than that. I was looking at getting a cambered ski like the Ar7 or partial camber/rocker in the K2 Domain because theyre in my price range. Are there any other cambered or partial camber/rocker skis in my price range that I should check out or which of those two should I get? Also any suggestions for bindings? i was at my local shop and they said marker griffons would be my best bet

+k for help, I just want to make sure I get a good set up for next year

This year's ON3P Jeronimo (96 waist) sounds like a solid bet for your 70/30 balance, they might be a bit out of your price range though considering you want it under 400. Although if you can wait untill next season before buying you may be able to pick up this year's for under 400 direct through ON3P.

Hope that helps, Joey

The griffons this year are pretty crappy because they are all plastic. If you can get your hands on some griffons from last season I would recommend those and they are probably cheaper than this seasons griffons anyway.

I would advise against the Domains. They're symmetrical, which in my opinion is bad for carving groomers. Also you're a bigger guy and the Domains are very soft. Again bad for groomers.

I'm around your size (6'2" 175 lbs) and I also wanted skis that can handle park and groomers. I went with Line Chronics in 183 cm. My bindings are 2 cm back from true center. The Chronics are medium-stiff, directional and carve groomers unlike any other park ski I've tried. I also like the bit-wider-than-normal 92 mm waist. It's nice to have if there's some fresh snow, but I think it also helps when stomping big airs.

I really like my Chronics, but I guess any directional, stiff-ish park ski mounted a bit behind true center would be ideal.

I would say Cronics, defiantly don't get Afterbangs if your looking at Line. Because of your weight they will be impossible to control outside of the park. I have Salomon Suspects and i've been riding them for 2 seasons now. Im around you weight and height and they've been great for me. I only really started skiing park a couple years ago so you might consider them since you wont be going as hard as other people.

Ar7's are great skis I ride 2011 K2 silencers which r really great all-mtn park skis, but don't get any k2 Silencers besides the 2011 model because all the other ones are really bad. Also Line Chronics are really nice.

Stupid mobile site. I just got some ar7s with marker griffons mounted at -1 from my local shop so I'm pretty stoked. I'm hoping to use them a couple days before the end of the season.
