What ski size range should i be looking at?

I noticed that people here like longer skis and when I ordered skis from Ski Company in Rochester, NY, the employee that I was with said that a good size would be from between your chin and nose. So I got the Invaders in 171. I'm about 5'10" and 150~ lbs.

Now I've been watching SAC for some good deals on twins, what size range should I be looking at? Hopefully the Anthems will come out for this and I could pick that up.

a quick question, would it be harder or easier to do 270 on/off with the longer skis?
 
As a general rule, spinning is harder with longer skis. But with a center mounted ski like the Anthems or invaders, they tend to ski a little shorter.
 
i reckon it'd be about the same, apart form a little extra weight theres hardly a difference, plus you'll probably have grown a little since your last skis and gained some muscle or whatever making it easier for you to spin on/ off
 
it's just that i'm having a slight trouble these days with the spins onto boxes/rails. It seems like I can only muster up an 180 at the most, i can't get that extra 90 degrees of rotation.
 
hey i had the same question glad i could find it here instead of making a new thread... could i also get some advice on ski's... i was a snowboarder till i broke my board about 2 weeks ago and rode my friends ski's since then. im gunna be switching this next season and i dont want to be stuck with these 154 head mojo's. so any sugestions would be helpful
