What ski boot?

I'm probably buying the atomic bent chetler 100 with the tyrolia attack 13 GW bindings, but I don't know what boot I should get. I'm 16 y/o and a intermidiate-adv skier. I like to ski all over the mountain, powder, park, carving etc. I'm 65kg (145lbs) and 175cm (5ft 9). I have a background in racing.

I've been looking at some atomic boots such as the hawk prime and hawk magma. What flex should I get?

Im pretty much the same as you i ride the bc100, 16, 10kg lighter than you and slightly taller, but my boots are 100 flex and i find them to be a nice flex, maybe like 90-110 flex tho for you. Ask one of the boot fitters on here or in person tho because i dont really know what im talking about, i just know what suits me.

OP - you need to go to a boot-fitter and have a trained person assess your feet & other biomechanical needs because there is no way if you are used to skiing in a race boot that a Hawx Magna will work for you. No one here is going to be able to give you a recommendation because we can't see your feet and watch you flex a boot to know if it is too stiff or too soft for you. Only a boot-fitter will be able to help you here. You should ignore what other people will say that works for them because they aren't you, they don't have your feet, they don't have your preferences. Research who is the best boot-fitter in your area and go see them.

Ok thanks! What length on bc100 do you have?

With a race background you can skip all the shitty floppety boots at least. look at 120-130 flex stuff, (probably 130)

If you raced on atomics, I would look at atomics, but yeah bootfitter will know. I have yet to end up with boot I go to the bootfitter to buy ;D

if you've been fitted for race boots go back and get fitted for your current size. don't be like me when I was your age and buy boots that looked cool online thinking you are saving money
