Im looking for a ski for days when the snow is less then par. For days when everything is tracked out, the trees and the bumps are poor and ice is everwhere. I still want to ski fast and hard on days that have shitty and sometimes heavy snow. What do you think from your experience?

If you want twins, that's a much smaller market.

If you want any type of ski...any GS ski...Atomic.

Um yeah, there arent that many twins that fit that. But I'd say you're looking for something hard and heavy like a PE.

sounds like you need a new mountain

but id say check out karmas, pe's, and possibly prophet 90's for twins

basically something stiff that can deal with poor conditions.

this means:

karma

mojo 90

public enemy

msp

prophet 90

Volkl Karmas mounted at the FR mark.

The steel tip insert keeps them busting through crud, a good tune keeps them tracking on sketchy hard-pack/ice at moderate speed, and they're stiff enough to keep from folding when you push them hard.

They don't handle the ice as well as my Atomic GS:11's did, but they handle the crud a lot better.

The Head Mojo 90 would probably be another good choice, though if you can find them in the 04/05 model they'll be a little stiffer and stouter than the 05/06's and newer.

id get myseld a nice new pair of ak enemys for awsome days and then grab myself a pair of used demos that you can thrash on crappy days.

You need an all mountain ski or a good carving ski, you could try the Fischer RX8 or RX9, (I have RX8's and they are really sick). Elan Magfires, Salamon Screams, Atomic Metrons or SX's, Any Volkl, Some Heads, theres tons of skis you coul dpossibly choose. I wouldn't go for a twin for the conditions you described but whatever flaots your boat...
