1.) Gear talk

2.) Don't worry about it

3.) I see your new to this website, so you should check this out

4.) Your ski size can be a preferance. if your 5'2'' then a ski that is 157 cm would be right to the top of your head. but when choosing a ski, you should consider the running legnth, which is how much of the ski is actually touching the snow on a groomer. I have k2 kung fujas, and the running legnth is short because its rockered. so i got it in 178, which is about 4 or 5 inches over my head

check out all the tech talk videos too while your at it. there really cool and teach you a lot

I went with the 2009 Line invaders that were 151 cm when i was your height but now i have grown a little and regret not getting a longer ski like a 157 cm.

i'm 5'2" and 115 pounds and i ride a 164 atomic punx. i used to ride a 169 fujative but they were a little long. keep in mind that ski sizing is all about the rider. if you are just starting a 155 to a 161 would be good i think. but that depends also on what you wanna do. a short ski will jib better but a longer ski will be more stable. a shorter ski will generally turn faster but a longer ski could give you more control depending on how you ski and what you like. i wouldn't go past a 169 tho. anything longer than that could be too much. i have a lot of trouble spinning by bent chetlers since they are 183's lol.

I was in the same situation a year ago I'm 5'5" now or so and got 151 Line Invaders then. I regret not getting a pair of skis a little bit longer like a 157 (would be ideal)or 155. Because now the skis i bought a year ago are to short. I'm on my second year with the skis now. If your looking at using these skis for more then one year and are still growing get around a 157 or 155 They might seem a little big at first but they will last you more than a season. If you are looking to only use these skis for one year then get a 151 or around there. Hope this helps.
