What size poles?

Idk what length for you but if they are long they don't really get in the way that much, I use pretty long poles and never even notice them
 
stand on the ground with no shoes on and put your arm down at your side and bend it at a 90 degree angle like you would be holding a pole. whatever distance is between your hand and the ground is generally how long your pole should be. it’s a good bench mark but you can increase it or decrease it based on preference.

Shit, I'm 6'4" and my poles are 105. I ski short poles in the park but long boi's for big mountian. Tiny poles will bust up your back If you pole plant and ski a bunch of moguls.

Seriously though...just go to the lost and found at your local hill and try out a bunch of different sizes to find one you like.

I like the top of my grip at hip height, about as high as I imagine I'd want a cane to be. Buy longer if unsure, easy to cut down.
