what size pe's?

i am 5 6 and growing and weigh160. I think 179 but im not sure. I held some 180 candides up to my head and they were like 1 or 2 inches above my head

Yeah 179 is good for you (the tall guy) not sure about the original poster though... You may want to consider one size smaller...

I mounted mine at +3.5 and I would have liked them just a touch more forwards, like maybe .5 - 1 cm...

^ just to clarify that last point. I would have liked to have my setting shifted forwards by .5 to 1.0 cm, not using the +.5 setting...

I have 169 and I weight 5'6' and I think it's ok I would tell you to go for 169 I think that 179 is too long... 175 is the best but K2 doesn't make them so go for 169

i got the 169s and i am about 5'7'' and like 140. the 179s are huuuggggeeee. they are a real wide ski so take that into consideration. i don't think the pe's should be as tall as you. they should go to about your eyes or forehead.

ya but he is not 140lbs, he is 160. and growing.

If you want to be able to rip all mountain, and have lots of tail of landing huge go 179.

mouting +4 will give them a good park feel, and ski switch nicely. The larger size will give you more stablity at high speeds, and be better outside the park, and in the pow pow.

If your used to shorter skis, or really prefer shorter skis, the 169's will work too.
