I wanna get the bdog for some jibbing but i feel like the 180cm will be too short (i’m 179cm) will it be long enough to look steezy or should i get another ski with larger sizes( vishnu line blend on3p mango)?

180 will be fine

im 5 inches taller than you and I ride 180 bdogs and they feel long

If anything, those might be long, the bdogs are a little bit longer than other 180s, if it’s convenient, it might be beneficial to go look at them in a shop

dont get a bigger size because you find it more steezy

I’m just saying he should think about it, no need to get worked up about it.

a shorter ski won’t be as good for charging but it’ll be more fun for jibbing and easier to butter

armada recommends 172 for intermediate skiers, so it would probably work just as well

yeah im probably gonna go to a ski shop to see them irl

dude you're lucky enough to have a no-brainer decision for ski length, 180 is literally perfect for you. don't let the NS tards complicate things with their hangups

it's like asking for relationship advice from your friend who hates women, you're gonna get bad advice

Ski length recommendations are usually based off skill level. In the case of park skiing, the main drawback to longer skis is more swing weight and more ski to manage during a spin, whether that's a swap on a rail, jump trick, spin on or off of a rail, etc. Having a ski that's about the same height as you give or a take a few cm is usually a good spot to be in if you're a decent skier. How the ski feels at each length will really depend on the shape of the ski but most park skis will generally feel shorter when you ski them because they tend to have more rocker than a traditional ski

I'm 6ft and I have been riding the BDOGs all season. I spent last season on 185 blends and was looking for something shorter and faster, after about 50 days on the b dogs so far I honestly prefer the blends. The only benefit with the b dogs is that it's easier to butter them purely because of the rocker profile and the shorter length.
