What size K2 Reckoners

Alright, been skiing for most my life, never really park, till this season, getting the k2 reckoner 102s, I’m around 6ft 1/2 maybe a little more, do I go with the 170s or 177s?

Both might be too short imho. not saying you gotta get super oversized skis but I think they should be approximately the same height as you, give or take a little depending on your personal preference. what size skis are you on currently? I'm pretty sure reckoners are light, pretty soft, and have a decent amount of rocker in the tips and tails. They have less effective edge so they might feel shorter than you might expect

I ride 180 Bentchetlers now

I’m a similar size and rode the 177 reckoners most of last season, they were awesome but I think a 183 might have been better for me. Especially doing butters or landing back seat id push through them every now and again.

also separated my bases/edges in 2/3s of the ski like 2 months in.

I’m still torn on sizing. I’m going to use these for park and I feel for just starting the 170s would be easier to learn with, but the 177s would fit me better. Will the 177s make learning rails harder?

The fact that your considering 170 is mind boggling. 100% go 184 you’ll be able to enjoy the ski through out your progression in the park way more

Learn park while riding a correct size ski that way you don’t have to adjust to bigger skis as you get more into it. If your skis are too short and soft you’ll find yourself washing out and falling on tricks that you could be stomping on skis that are actually made for someone your size
