I want to learn fives next year I have a 10 - 11 ft dropin and it is crazy steep I havent tried it on snow but I think Ill get a ton of speed. And a couple weeks ago when I wet the turf a lot I got enough speed to get really good air off a 4 ft jump. So I was wondering what is the best height and length for learning 5's

I am gonna learn them on snow!!!!!!! I am just gonna pile snow on my dropin and get a crapload of speed Im not a dumb ass why the hell would I try them on turf. But if u could tell me what size jump that would be great too.

haha calm down, make it about waist+ high, then you may learn 5's but without decent grabs, the trick is not height but length, after the jump, you should make the flat part about 5 foot MINIMUM, the bigger the better, and the kicker should be a lil more than 4 feet long, also the angle and smoothness of the kicker is pretty important... It's pretty hard to make a jump but good luck anyways, it's gotta be real rugged

Thanks that really helped a lot and im propably gonna do what u said but instead of spending hours and hours building the jump entirely out of snow Im propably going to use ply wood and pile a ton of snow on it so i cant feel any wood at all its just easier that way.
