so i have a pair of never used 2011 balck henrik harlaut ninthwards 176. im planning on mounting my griffions from my old skis on the henriks, they are in good shape just normal wear and tear. but i also have some hardly used 2005 rossi turntables that go to 18. im trying to decide what to mount on my henriks and what to save for some powder skis once i get them,

give me your advice ns +k for good help

hmmm 12 DIN vs 18 DIN??? Gonna need some more info on you before that gets answered.

Height? Weight? BSL? Skier Type/Skill Level (both in park and powder)? Normal DIN setting (for both park and powder if you know)?

My gut feeling right now is to keep the turntables for the powder, but I can't be sure till I have all the info.

To be honest, 10 seems a bit high for you...but whatever. If that's the case, then you could go either way, 10 is pretty much the lowest setting for an 18 DIN binding, while 10 is also about as high as a 12 DIN binding should go...so it's really up to you. If you ski park more than powder and don't charge SUPER hard in the powder, but abuse your bindings in the park then go with the 18s on your park skis, however, if you really want to charge hard in the powder (cliff drops, ect.) then throw the 18s on the powder skis...it's a tough call.

thanks man i think i might do the 18 on my parks. 10 seems fine cause i keep popping out at 8 so i cranked it up and i popped out on some bigger crashes but stayed in when i wanted to... +k man

I would say definitely mount up the turntables. Even though the DIN goes up to 18, the best place to be is somewhere in the middle of the DIN range. This maximizes the life of the spring and definitely increases durability. Additionally, those bindings have a nice low ride height and they only need to release when absolutely necessary.
