What should i get for christmas

I know what you mean! I want to get the Burton Down jacket, but I don't think my dad wants to buy me another jacket since I got one last year. I really have no idea other than that and some ski clothes.

Christmas officially doesn't rule anymore, since now the pain of buying gifts and paying for them crosses out the joy of receiving a few. Sucks.

for me....underarmour for my legs(above knee, soccer and rugby) ipod nano, some cds. some ski shit,,,chrome mirror lens from a local ski shop for my prodigys...THATS IT

my birthday is right after xmas so i just get larger xmas presents...im lucky becasue i can ask for more shit for xmas..and just not get anything on my bday...

Give some money to charity if you can't think of anything, or if you just want to. A couple years back, I didn't really want anything in particular and had my parents give the Food Shelf 300 or so bucks instead.

hahah, of course i was joking , everybody on NS got an ipod last year for christmas this year will probbly be video cameras or helmets

Helmets are overrated. Im getting a new digital camera and a trip to Breckenridge over new years and Europe for spring break to shred in Switzerland. Thats my Christmas. Oh, and a ring from my boyfriend... And Ill probably get a book or something from my grandma.

The trip to Breck is so I can be with my boyfriend. The trip to Europe is so I can visit my uncle in Austria and go skiing for a week. And Ive been using my moms digital camera since mine broke in March and shes really sick of not having hers. So yeah. In my family each person usually gets one really big present from "santa" and then a few small ones from everyone else.

i got on of those on my list. oh it will be nice when i get one of those. ask for shit you want. gift certificates always work.

dont know what you should, but im asking for a cheap coat and maybe a pool cue stick. and a home made hat and mittens.

You should all stop asking for gifts. The best gifts in life are the ones you least expect. And don't get me wrong here but I'm sure your parents already know what you like, if they don't they are bad parents. So most likely they'll get you at least something you'll like. Second anyone that wines about what they want should get socks, because a gift is exactly what it sounds like. Something given to show that he/she cares. Buying what someone wants is spoiling unless you are buying them something they truely need like a new heart or something. Anyways you all need to drop your "give me give me" attitudes and think more about other people. On other words this thread should be what should I get somebody else for Christmas. Self-centered people suck ass!! Breed Love not hate

^uhhh lay off the acid dude, ur way out of line. his parents probably ask him "hey son, what would yopu like?" and then he gets to choose. not gime gimme gimme.

second, when u were a kid, didnt you make a list of things you like and give it to ur parents? well how is that any different than asking for 1 big thing now that you are grown up?

third, maybe i have ideas for all the people im buying for but dont know what i would like for xmas since anything is either too expensive, ie a car/boat, or is not somethig significant enough for a xmas gift such as film

Exactly first he should say get me whatever you think I need. This will either get the parents to better know their child and possible begin to take the gimme gimme out of his life.

Second I never did that. In fact at Christmas I always went out of my way to try and get something special for everyone else and/or make it (depending on age and all, made baskets that are still in use today, change holders, still in use, wallets and hats made of ducktape). Thinking about yourself turns your perception inward.

Third if you don't know what you want your on the right track. Just don't ask for anything and see what you get. You'll probably end up with something you never expected and you'll be so happy.

Lastly who said film doesn't count as a present. (5 rolls) I would be fucking exstatic about film. Thats one full day of shooting. But at least you think the right way with the car and boat because you know that is a lux not a ness. Really, honestly, I bet you would be pissed at someone if they got you film. So what you need hundred or thousand dollar presents to be happy with what you got?

Anyways I think this has been said by everyone at some point in time but anyways Christmas really has lost alot of its meaning. Breed Love not greed.

all depends on the family you come from. i usually just ask for 1 thing, and that is a ski pass or a plane ticket for a trip out west. and thats all i get besides some candy.

back when i was younger i would usually get 1-2 bigger presents and then a bunch of lil things like film, PS2 game, videos, etc.

i used to think christmas was about free shit. but i later realized that the word 'free' is a relative thing. what's free to one, is costly to another. the money has to be coming from somewhere, right? so in this case, it's you're parents. so why ruin them? it must suck, since it's a lose/lose situation for them. either they spend shit loads of cash and their kids are happy, or they save their money and face the guilt of having bought nothing for their kids. must be tough to find some sort of compromise.

i n33d a new helmet...and new skis...but im getting a trip to vermont which is fun...and im buying my skis myself once i sell my snowboard so hopefully i will get a new helmet and a new mp3 player or something

I'm asking for a Mountain Hardware -20 sleeping bag. Then I'm going to ask for a bivy sack for my birthday.

why do kids yell at kids and make fun of them for asking for presents

haha you bitch....what a bitch you are because you have money, you stupid bitch, god, who are you thinking you can actually have money, i mean....realllyyyyyy
