OK so alst night a friend of mine had a going away party, at another friend of ours house. People started showing up we didn't know, and eventually one of the kids starts poppin off to the owner of the house, and they step outside. I'm in the garage smoking and I step outisde to break it up, and there are hella people out there, and shit finally settles, and I take this girl home, come back and my laptop got jacked. Long story short, I HAVE to have it back. Not having this laptop is not an option. Fuck you if all you are going to say is, "shouldn't have had it there..." because I needed it. This kid needed a CD cover for his new album, so we were putting the finishing touches on it at this house.

Now, I have it narrowed down to 3 guys. A guy named Igor, AJ?, and this mexican guy.

I am willing to pay a reward for it, no questions asked. And I'm making it known. In the mean time, I have a gun, and like 6 friends who are willing to help me.

Would it be more likely to get it back by just paying the reward and not making a big deal out of it, or do you think I should just man up, and try to go get it back by force?

If you don't got anything good to say, then don't bother responding.
 
Find out who has it for certain, then use force. Or be very clever and steal it back without them knowing.

No guns though. Guns are fucked.
 
i would kill someone if they stole my laptop, no question. you need to crack down hard on these bitches, tell them all about it, if they dont confess search their houses, find it, take it, stab them, and leave.
 
youre going to shoot someone to get your laptop back? thats potentially throwing your entire life away. you realize this right? just having a gun in the scenario sets up the possiblity for you to either do something you will regret big time, or maybe worse, the gun gets aways from you, and bad things happen. take some brass, or a bat or something if you want... but id really advise against the firearms.
 
bring an unloaded gun so its not attampted murder, not a knife. try to steal it back first, and act quick befor he sells it
 
The gun thing better be a joke, that is a felony, far more sever then the original crime, how about reporting it too the cops and giving the 3 names, then take a ride with the cop and show up at the kids houses, that will scare them into giving it back... or just get a close buddy and a cop uniform... fuck that would be great...
 
hate when that happens, people stealing things at parties, why would you do that? i could never keep anything that wasn't mine especially a laptop since theres so much stuff on it. especially when there's people there you don't know its hard to target if they would take it or not since you don't know them. that sucks i would be soo pissed!!!
 
find out who took it and reason with them...tell them you can either give it back nicely no questions asked and or shit will get alot worse

dont say tht but using fear can be really powerful
 
i would suggest restaining yourself from shooting anyone if possible. that is actually illegel and punishable by death
 
i would first of all...try and use the reward..if that doesnt work...go 9th style...FINGA ON DA TRIGGA
 
no matter how stereotypical that is i have to agree with you. just go to those 3 peoples house and take it back by force. and bring the gun just as a threat.

first- get ur ip address of your computer. If u have it.

second- get a hacker to find out where the fuck ur computer is.

third- get a bat and some friends. Go fuck this guy up because he will probably be alone.

fourth- get ur computer back and tell him FUCK YOU
