Im headin up to whistler and I got a problem. I got new boots and I need to remount my xscreams and my 1080s. The problem is I dont have much money to do both and It would probably be tough to bring 2 pairs of skis to Canada. I dont know but I kinda wanna ride my 1080s more, Im gonna spend like 90% of my time in the bowls and stuff but Im definitely gonna check out the park and learn some new stuff. Will my 1080s be pretty good in the bowls and stuff or should I just stick with the xscreams? I know the xscreams are practically made for places like whistler but I heard the 1080s kick ass all over as well, oh yeah Im also concerned how they will work in pow. I know this seems like a stupid post, sorry.

**Whistler peeps, how much more of the mountain will be open in the next 1.5/2 weeks? Will I be able to ski Blackcomb top to bottom? Hows the park lookin?

what kind of bindings do you have? because most bindings (atleast salomon) are adjustable to a certain point. I mean how much bigger could your boots be? you should just be able to adjust your bindings to fit your new boots. Plus the 1080's are fine for all mountain

the 1080s wont be as good as xscreams in bowls but it wont hinder you so much that you will notice a big difference. just bring the 1080s.

Thanks, I just took my 1080s to be redone and its so cheap that I might do my xscreams if I can find a double ski bag. It sucks tho my xscreams have some shitty marker bindings and this will be the 3rd time remounting them, plus the edges might need retuning, I dont even know If I am even gonna keep em, I mean I ski the midwest for fucks sake, I wish I lived in whistler or CO where I would need both pairs. I hope to go to school in CO next year but its kinda sketch. Sorry Im just rambling and not making much sense now, feel free to forget what you just read, sometimes I just get to typing and I cant stop.

 
I dunno about you but my ski bag that I have for trips definately has enough room for 2 pairs of skis...when I went to utah I had my poles, skis, ski pants and lots of clothes (also to protect my skis) in there. I have a salomon bag that I won from school.

The 1080's dude, I think they are actually fatter than xscreams anyway. But look for demos while you're there. Pocket Rockets kick ass.
