What should I ask for my b-day?

I'm turning 17 on the 20th of June. We have a pretty low budget so it can't be anything like an ipod. I have one, anyways.

I'm really into backpacking, tennis, music (of all kinds), and obviously skiing but I'm paying for all my ski stuff so there's no way I'm getting anything related haha.

suggestions?

if you are really into backpacking ask for a good camp stove I got one for my 17th and use it every trip. you can pick one up for kinda cheap also.

Not gonna lie, I'm actually pretty set for backpacking. My dad has everything I might need. If you can think of something unique then that might be cool.

How about a nice set of headphones? Only a hundred dollars or so. Maybe a little on the high range but you might be able to find some cheaper.

Or if you are a runner, ask for an armband to hold your iPod while running.

Headphones is a really good idea, maybe an i-tunes gift card or something or if you don't have one i-homes are nice to have.

I'm turning 17 on the 18th of june :o

but like that guy said up there, maybe ask for an itunes gift card, or maybe some tennis lessons. dont know how good you are at tennis, but lessons never hurt anyone. maybe a ski movie or two?

I'm turning 17 on the 8th and I asked for final cut express. If you are into editing and need a new program you could ask for one.

i was going to say drugs. but the mic would be cool. i like the sure sm58. its a solid vocal mic. and there durable as shit. probably like 100$ or something close to that. defiantly look it up.

doope your bdays the day before mine.

you probably already have this, but my mom got me a really dope leatherman for christmas. i kept it in my pocket durign ski season, and on my keychain the rest of the time. it's a little ridiculous how often i use it and how much it comes in handy.

i could see this " um mom and dad, i decided on what i want for my birthday, i want a fat sack of weed, and no pussy shit either" haha that convo would go great....

i asked for remote control helicopters, the cheap ones for kids that don't break when you fly them into walls. I can play with my cat for so long. She is Godzilla while me and my exchange student are the army helicopters. My mom thought it was a little childish and it was a little strange when I opened a box in front of my extended family that had a sign on it that said ages 10 and up but what the hell.

buy tennis grip in bulk, you can get unreal deals online. during the season you will probably go through at least a grip a week. i know this from playing squash competitively for the past 12 years.

agreed, but grip tape for your birthday?....

- Oh golly gee! grip tape!! how did you know!! this is JUST what i wanted! thanks mom and dad you guys are the BEST!

- Your welcome son! Don't go using it all up right away now!

- Willikers! you guys are the greatest!

well dude it's the thing I will be expecting from them...we're on a low budget. I wouldn't mind some grip but I think I will be able to buy some after a couple days of working. I need to save up for a new racket anyways, so I might ask for one.

Ask your rents to go 50/50 on a new racket. That way you can pick out the nice one that you actually want, and still stay on your rents budget.

Or you could get new shoes, those can be expensive.
