What second ski should I choose

HoiI can pick 2 of next seasons Armadas, and since I liked this years Alpha1 a lot I´m gonna pick the Alpha2 as my first choice. My problem is i cant decide which ski I should choose as second choice.I allready got 08/09 JJs and Gotamas as pow skis, so it doesnt make much sense to pick another pow ski.Ive been thinking about the AR6 or the ARW since I cant ski pipe at all.Oh, i ski 90% park, only if theres some fresh I hit the pow. What would you guys do?

AR6'S are the same ski as the T-hall they just have a different top sheet and they try and squezze more money out of you for the same ski. Personally I would go for the AR6, my friends Dad is a ski manufacturer and he informed about the Pros & Cons of skis and how the companies try and get as much money out off you as possible. Im no trying to be biast but that's my oppinion.

thats what I´ve been thinking. But I allready have a park ski if I pick the alpha, right??would you choose 2 100% park skis?would you USE an allmountain ski if you ski 90% park?would you use 2 different park skis?

he already has powder skis so he's not looking for that. plus, he's got the gotama's those charge harder than a bull after

I'd go with the t-halls personally just because i see a lot omre people on the AR6's than the T-halls

dude there is no way the only difference is the topsheet

the thall has a different flax pattern that makes it flex more behind and in front of the bindings

though they have the same dimensions and construction, the thall is much softer and not nearly as stable all-mountain as the ar6

besides if they were the same ski and armada's marketing plan was to sell more of the expensive thall why don't any pros ride them in comps?

Why do you need a second ski?

You ski 90% park, and only ski powder when your not in the park, and you have 2 powder skis why would you need anything else?

I had made the coment that I am being biast. And I am getting this story second hand. But I know for a fact that many ski companies do use the same construction on different models to try and squezze money out of the consumer. And the consumer (which is us) ussauly can be loured in to a false deception, But anyway I am being biast and this is my oppinion so I don't wan't to hate on companies but this is a fairly well known fact.

I would pick 2 park skis if your going %90 in the park what's the point in investing on something that you are going to use only %10 of the time. And I would try and mix your skis up instead of having just the one brand I would be going for others such as Volkl, K2, Solomon, Head, JJ Pros just mix up your inventory. And don't go straight into buying a ski go demo it and see if you like it and be happy with it. I know for a fact that I had jumped into a pair of skis that I had never tried but I knew they were a good ski. So just be sure what your ganna get.

Best Of Luck

I got hooked up with kind of a sponsor deal with Armada, lowest level, so I can pick 2.if I get 2 for free, I take two and certainly wont say: oh no, I only need one, keep the second.and its obvious that I can "only" choose Armadas...I chose the AR6 since I ripped my bindings out of my Alpha1s and need a park ski pretty fast.Next years AR6 are in stock, but it takes them 2 weeks to get me Alpha2s, so I take the AR6 and get the Alphas later...There s no way that Thalls and AR6 are the same ski, if you ever saw both skis and felt their flex you would now. Thalls are sooo much softer than AR6, no way that there s only the topsheet different....
thx fort the advice, though it would ve been helpful if some guys had read my starting post...

I'm serious dude, I love this ski so much and you don't have to have pipe skills to ride them. They are just a sick park ski. Their flex pattern is orgasmic and they are light as fuck. The bases and edges can handle rails just fine, it was only the first year that had skinny edges, and those are the ones I have and I haven't ripped out any edges yet. The bases are super fast too, you don't need as much of an inrun, seriously. They are sick for big jumps too, no flex underfoot, but the very tip is soft and the tail is just a little bit softer than underfoot. Plus they fucking rip on groomers, I've even done a GS race with them and had comparable times with people on race skis.. Armada made something beautiful haha I'm definitely buying another pair of them..

well i would get the Alpha 2 for a stiffer, rockered jump ski and then get either the AR6 which is amazing all mountain and park as well or if you want buttery rail ski get the T-Hall

I already have last year's AR6 and I might get Armada's on pro-form next year and I'm definitely getting Alpha 2's

Nope, youre right. The other kid is wrong. T Halls are softer, AR6s are in the middle and Pipe Cleaners are stiffest out of the 3.

This.

Pipe cleaners are the funnest park ski I have ridden and are just as durable as any other armada park ski.

right on - Thalls because of different flex points seem softer, AR6's are medium flex and PC's are fastest with race base and stiffer and 1 mm narrower.
