What punishment do you get for shoplifting?

three of my friends have to go to court for shoplifting charges. one of them has his court date on thursday.

all of them are dumbasses and i am just wondering what punishment will the get besides probably having to do community service

wat store was it? i know most stores have a min payment u have to make for the value of the stolen items(so if the stores is 250, and u stole somthin worth 5, u gotta pay 250). if the stores is real high then they gotta pay that. then they might have to do jail time, theyl prolly be banned from the store, one option if u have it is goin to youth court, not sure if u guys have that there. it all depends on if they get tried as adults too, if not then jailtime wont happen.
