What Poles Should I Get?

Okay, I'm 15 years old, 5 feet 4 inches and I spend most of my time skiing in the terrain park. My current poles fit my height and keep my elbows at a 90 degree angle, but they're a pain and get in the way when I'm in the park. My friends said that shorter poles are better. So what would be a good and size pole for me if I'd like them to be shorter.

Thanks,

Annabelle

Seriously though, get what feels right to you. They are nice to be short, but too short defeats their purpose.

Nice to see you made an account.

Ask your local shop and if you have a big budget get panda poles or soil poles but if not the line pointy sticks with grips are the best

Scott poles are pretty much the best poles. There's really no question, mine have held up like no others.

This. Surprised no one has said this. They are what I have been using for years.

Honestly just cut yours shorter, or go to a used sports store and buy some for 5$ then paint them your colour of choice. Cut them short if youre skiing park so that you reduce the likely hood of getting speared when falling. Good luck

It actually seems like a good idea. Panda poles are strong and lightweight, but they are expensive as fuck.

Just steal some rentals and cut them down.

i wouldnt say light weight, if you pick up a pair of aluminum poles, the aluminum is definately lighter. BUT, when using panda poles they give you more confidence knowing that they wont bend or break. they are super durable. ive taken mine hiking in summer and havent had a basket issue. the bamboo is super durable and hasnt snapped after a season of many hard falls.

my poles are scotts that have been cut down and they're the only pair of poles I've ever had. They're a bit bent but they've never snapped.
