I hate the constant negative comments on this website. I understand some of them because sometimes people are just straight up stupid, but most of them are not needed.

It seems like every single person on this website is extremely obsessed with us newschoolers becoming a skiing "community". Well how the fuck is that supposed to happen when we're constantly being assholes to each other? Many users here are arrogant, egotistical, and make unnecessary comments for no reason on a daily basis. And don't give me the "It's the end of the season, that's why everyone is being mean." excuse because that's bullshit. I love skiing, it's all I ever want to do EVER but I don't randomly become a douche just because the season is over. If that's the case then build a fucking Summer set up.

Also, a lot of people on here seem to be cocky and think they can say whatever they want to people. I don't care if you can land a fucking double or not, that doesn't automatically give you respect, and certainly does not give you permission to be a dick to someone else just because of their ski ability.

Half of you probably lie about the tricks you can do and your skiing ability anyways.

I can honestly say this website has more of a negative mood than any other forum I've ever been a part of by a longshot.

I'm not saying every user here has this attitude by any means, I'm just telling you guys how I feel about some people on this website. I'm expecting this post to get -K'd to Hell but whatever. Some of you guys need to open your fucking eyes.
 
once in a rare while, the NS community can come together and be positive in a thread or about a topic.

the rest of the time, it's just trash.
 
Finally. You post a thread asking for a serious response and you get 'pee in their butt' and/or ar6rider and skierman getting their army of assholes together and buttfuck your thread.

and the mods support that shit too, really annoying. been here a little over a year, and I have to say it's gotten worse
 
dude just deal with it, it's a part of the internet. I dont find the vibe to be bad at all here, I rarely see any negative speaking with actual bad intention, it's mostly just joking. In my short time here, Ns has been hilarious and awesome

Yeah there is a certain member that loves to be a dick to everyone, but seems to have to negatively comment on all my posts. I just kinda go along with it and troll back, it gives me a laugh actually. Funny shit
 
youll familiarize yourself with the people who tend to respond negatively eventually. what it really comes down to is that there are discrepancies between how people portray themselves on the internet and what theyre like in person. internet 101

Well I mean most negative comments are hilarious and posted as a joke or they're just a tiny bit butthurt and exaggerate it in the post but it's easy enough just to laugh at the comments. No one here legitimately hates another person just the figure portrayed through posts on the internet. Well some people do seem to actually hate skiierman though.

Most of the kids on this site are immature teenagers who think they are the shit but would probably be too pussy to act it in real life, the internet gives them something to hide behind...

I'm not going to name anyone but some of the notorious wankers here who just call people fuckwits all the time are just pansies hiding behind a screen, and if you call them out they get all aggressive and call you an immature shit head or something, revealing that they are infact a boss entrepreneur and the coolest cat out, and then tell you to harden up, that's just NS, I am slowing learning to ignore it but sometimes its so frustrating...

Its a shame that these people are skiers on this website but hey, skiing attracts all sorts of people, douche bags as well
