So im prolly getting a new phone for christmas.

im thinking either Blackberry Curve 8330 or a Samsung Instinct. I also have the everything plan so i dont really have to worry about internet costs.

i do a lot of texting and internet and media.

Please give me your opinion.!

sorry but is a blackberry bold an option? theyre amazing. so are the iphones if you can get one i would over ANYTHING (think HIGHSPEED nsing in class!!!!!!) and LG voyagers look neat too

Ya, but if you're getting the iPhone, fido has the best plan for them.

You can't get anything under $60 a month for iPhones.. Kinda gay,

The LG Voyager is sick.

Thats what I'm getting. Check them out.

BLACKBERRY BOLD! im definetly posting this right now from mine and its sick as hell.

remember anything with a touch screen (BB storm or iphone) have major problems when they get cold. and if u plan on skiing with it in your pocket... definetly rethink the touch screen option.

blackberry is the way to go. Ive got the 833 whatever and it is solid. It works well, and is great for texting. Don't get the storm, I saw one freeze up out of the box. The bold is probably your best bet.

verizon Gz'one if your like me and like to throw things when your mad. or go swim with your phone in your pocket.

its waterproof, shockproof, dustproof. tested by military standards. im getting one in a few days

ok. ur itouch works perfectly in the cold. but if u had an IPHONE and u cracked the screen... can u dial?

can u text?

can u do anything else ur paying money for?

all great responces the only thing is that im on sprint!!!!! but i have unlimited everything. im leaning toward the blackberry just beacse with touch, once it breaks your fucked. and 3 people in my fam have the instinct, and its okay, but kinda hard to text sometimes. and the battery is bigger on the blackberry curve.

I have the curve and its the best phone i have ever hadGo with the curve. The bold is sweet but also is huge, while the curve is compact, and feels like a regular phone in your hand almost.

i have this one its sickk

i have voyager, really not that great. I'd rather have a really good phone then a shitty touch screen. texting is solid though

why would you question this? Iphone trumps everything. Blackberry storm doesn't even have wifi, but if you can wait and have lots of money Nokia N97 coming out in January looks damn good too

Ive had an iphone since they came out and keeping in my pocket while skiing keeps it plenty warm enough to work perfectly. Not only that, but it has never broken or cracked on any of my falls~

Snow Skating on anything else would be impossible. Wait, this is a snow skate website isnt it???~

i just got the blackberry storm and i honestly have very few complaints with it. the battery life is weak but so is the bolds. other than that its pretty incredible.

i feel your pain, everybody is suggesting not-sprint. while all the phones suggested so far, i think your best bet on sprint with the everything is a curve. instincts are sweet, but i work at a cell phone store, and a lot of them get returned. however, if price is not an issue, check out the htc touch diamond or touch pro. touch diamond is sweet, but touch pro has a keyboard.

Don't even start with the Iphone vs blackberry debate. Comparing features the blackberrys win. Period.

To anyone saying how the storm is not good cause of crashing, or weak battery life or whatever...look up crackberry and get the new OS, came out the other day. It's a leaked version of .76 and it supposedly fixes pretty much anything and makes it way more responsive. Definitely steps it up a notch, with the update I'd say its easily comparable to the iphone.

Anyways, personally I'm trying to get either a Bold or a Storm, not sure what I want yet.

i got a lg dare, but i think verizon is the only carrier since the dare is their version of an iphone. i love it, but i think i have a defective battery. it doesn't last more than a day and needs to charge everynight. it's good for everything, and verizon's stupid vcast stuff instead of wifi internet is my only gripe.

they are a sweet idea, with terrible implementation. there are way better comparable phones, you are lucky you dont have them in canada. not only are they bulky and just badly designed, but they break really easily too

and with a touch screen you have to take in the lack of muscle memory, chances are you'll always be lookinh down to type as opposed to just knowing where everything is,

ps i'd go with the curve

wow i need this haha.. i chucked my blackjack II at a wall a couple weeks ago..

anyways..

the g-phone is sick... also the iphone obviously, storm is pretty good i played with one the other day but wasnt overly impressed. also the samsung omnia is pretty damn sweet too..
