What pass should I get?

I'm coming out from PA to go to Westminster this fall, and I'm not sure what pass to get...

I'm looking at Alta/Snowbird, Brighton, Park City...or maybe The Canyons.

What do you think about these resorts (snow/terrain, park, atmosphere)?

I realized that there was already a thread that said, "I'm moving to SLC--what pass should I get?" But my question is kind of different so if you want to answer me, too, that would be cool.

Canyons for sure, they have the best snow, and the best park in the state. Plus the BC is sick and they always have like 4 feet of fresh snow everyday.

yeah, plus they dont regulate the backcountry that you can access like most other resorts, so you get to dive into 'lanching territory without any worry of being paid attention to. plus they have like 6 natural half-pipes.

'natural halfpipes" those are just gay runs with walls on the side. A really underrated mountain for big mountain is Snowbasin, a bit farther north but it kils it and they are finally stepping it up with a park.

Stay away from anything north of park city, the snow is so crapy and you have to wait in line for about an hour because the lifts are so slow. Plus there farther away not worth it stay away from snow basin and powder mountian they both suck balls so bad, way worse than the cotton woods.

If your going to westmister you can enroll in there skiing program. You get credit for going skiing. You will also get a pass up to alta. I would go up either to or little cottonwood canyon. Those PC resorts get only 3/4 as much snow as alta, and the bird. Plus the bird is still open. They just extened another month. Sking in JUNE yessssss

shit, skiing until july. They're open until july 4th now. thats hot. literally...its going to be like water skiing

I don't know if money is an issue, but the canyons pass is probably the cheapest in the state if you are a student. And the area is not that bad, good BC access, large mountain, the paark is a little weak, but not that bad. It all depends on what you like to ski and seeing that you are from the PA you will most likely be happy skiing at any resort in utah because skiing in the east sucks balls. There is no comparison, so pick the cheapest pass or the pass to one of the legends (alta/bird)

if you want to actualy learn how to ski go to the bird, or i guess alta if you want a more chilled atmosphere. FUCK the canyons it really blows there. just too spread out. and the BC there isn't nearly as good as inbounds stuff at bird/alta. brighton is ok, good to film but kinda flat. there are quick steeps and then long runouts. the bird is my favorite.

its all about the dirty bird, I think im going Snowbird/ Solitude pass next year. For those unfortunate days where one of the canyons is closed. Never skiied solitude but I hear good things

We pay our debt sometimes.

SUNDANCE!!!!

i will never be cought dead anywhere other than good ol sundog!

so much terrain there you can take a different run all day and still see the same douchebags you saw the last time down!
