What park ski should I buy?

I’m a 15 year old 135lb 5-8, Midwest park skier. As many would know who have skied Midwest know, most ski resorts are mainly park focused with little to no powder. I like to hit medium sized jumps, and want to continue to get better at rails this year, as well as improving my jump game. I want a ski with a medium flex, that I can ride 90% park, and 10% all mountain. Been looking at K2 poachers, and sights. Would love to hear your opinions on those, or any other recommendations you may have. Help would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

If I were to buy a pair of vishnus next year, which model-size should I get?

because you're kind of light 177''s might be better, 183's wouldnt be hard to move but they would probably feel long

When would be the best time to buy a pair, because the smaller sizes in vishnus seem very hard to come across?

pre-sale, usually starts on may 1st and goes for may/june, buy them like first day and you should be fine

When do they ship them? Wanna make sure they get here before my season starts!

Fauna alparka,

If you want something for progressing on jumps and rails, the Alparka is a great choice. Endless pop from the ash core and carbon; Virtually no swing weight without compromising on rail durability with extra thick base and edges.

Fauna alparka, Vishnu key, K2 sight, line chronic would be a few I’d consider. Maybe Völkl revolt 86

Alparka a good call as well...the link in

@FaunaSkis signature is NS special pricing...$400 for a brand new premium ski, that's a pretty smokin' deal. Go for the 178.

Still thinking I’m gonna get Vishnus. Debating between wet and wet plus tho. Any help?

Im 5'10 and my 183 wets feel stable enough, definitely gets squirrely sometimes tho. I'm sure wets would be better if you like bigger jumps, but i can ride the 40 footer at my local on them

Im buying them for next season and im the same weight and size

Ive heard from so many people who ski them that you are gonna want them big

Plus the tips cut down size kinda like 0n3ps if you know what im talking about

Pretty wide range if ur looking at a poacher or a wet lol

I’m really only looking at wets now. Only thing that I am debating on anymore is size. It’s hard, being 5’8 I’m in between sizes. I’m still prob gonna grow, since I’m still a teen

In between the 177 and 183?

I don't think it matters too much. Go 177 if you focus on tech rail tricks and 183 if you want more stability.

How much taller than me would the skis be if I got 183? I’m 5’8 going on 5’9

183/2.54=72.04 inches or 6 feet if you like. Depending on manufacturer skis usually measure shorter than the stated length because the length before pressing is given. Notable exceptions include: Moment, K2, ON3P. I'm not sure how Vishnu measure theirs.

Moment measures before not after. The owner has mentioned that on here before

Correct. My mistake. Moment, K2, ON3P measure longer than other brands in the same stated length because they are measured post press
