so last season i had first drop pants and a armada spectrum jacket. but the first drop pants werent that waterproof and they always got holes in them then i had to sew them up. just give me your honest opinion of what outerwear i should get for next year.

fd next year might be better next year, but idk, sagas stufis always great, lethal desent, trew, causwel, armadas stuff is good ( but u had those aready) anf oakleys stufis always good

Such a sick looking suit. Don't be scared to check out sales and stuff. I've seen Oakley and Orage on sale at places like winners

Do you really think hes looking to pick up fd a year after he had a bad experience with them? No. OP- Look at anyone and everyone. FD's quality is ummm laughable at this point sadly enough. They've got dope designs, warm clothes (unless you burn to death in the late spring). I've never had problems with the durability of products by: Lethal Descent, Oakley, or Orage, but don't have a lot of experience outside of them. Hope that helps.

definitely looking to get one of there jackets next year.might have to look at moments line next year also.

burton helmet, saga coat/pants, and jiberish coat/pants. Mabye some armada skis, line bindings, joystick poles. And whatever boots fit/\.

You'll be pretty steezy

durable as all hell. waterproof enough. the fit is great, i like the overall look of the jacket. all the features are great.

line did make bindings, he might have the older ones. Unparalleled in design (they could be swapped between pairs of line skis) they failed in that they weren't close enough to the ski. Other people said they were too heavy, but lets be real, anyone who knows whats up knows that the weight of a binding doesn't matter (unless you really can't carry your skis to and from your car). It doesn't affect swing weight.

Alright no problem. But to your original question, look at reviews, figure out whats sick and to be honest- look at end of the season, later september/august deals. I have never found a pair of $50 pants or jackets at sales that I was disappointed in. Online deals are great, but your local shop might hook it up cheaper, especially when you count in the cost of shipping.

you can always just go get an expensive northface pair for alot of money and just get them too big for stye if you want but still have them be very waterproof. if you want good snowpants usually you pay a bit more for them

create your own style.

but if you wanna stay mainstream the obvious choices = ldc, fd, saga, causwell, oakley, orage, trew, north face, sessions idk many companies to choose from.

holden and causwell period.

orage is pretty good

dna is good

bond is good

sessions is decent

oakley's outerwear is actually garbage don't let these idiots on here tell you otherwise.

also, sorry for the double post, but these brands may cost more up-front, but you will have them longer, significantly longer, so they in essence eventually pay for themselves.

my holden pants have 0 holes in the legs, they're 4 years old and have probably about 200 days skiing on them.

i occasionally use dwr refreshing spray on them that you can get from nik-wax for like ten bucks.

I save up, buy nice outerwear, I get what I pay for, it lasts me 4+ years. I have used the same jacket for the last five years. I just replaced my pants with some used patagonia ones for $60, they are still bomber. I plan on buying a new jacket for next year, probably spending in the $350-$450 range. I expect it to last me another 4-5 years. That is better then spending $250 on a jacket and having to get a new one in a year or two like many people on here do.

I also don't try and keep up with trends, they are usually short lived, and ugly to boot.

go for Oakley they make such sick outerwear and it's really good quality downside is it's fucking expensive
