What Obama is all about, check it out

I will laugh at all you uppity "I'm not racist" suburban white kids when you realize your country has a Mexican majority. And its not going to be the kind of Mexicans you want either.

And before you all e-scream "Racist!" you should know I've lived in Mexico and I love the place. I however hate the high amount of Mexican trash that seep through our highly porous border. You might say "we depend on their cheap labor!" but that is a complete lie. The 2nd generation of these illegal dregs of Mexican society are a curse on this country.

DUDE if i got my girlfriend pregnant no fucking way would i want her parents knowing that she got an abortion. it should be private. besides the fact that her dad would literally stretch my balls out, lather them with honey and unleash bee's at them

needless to say I have not met one Mexican person who came over here legally that takes it for granted. These are the hardest working people, and often their kids are successful as well.

I'm from VT and I rarely ever go outside my state so it's kinda hard for me to grasp whether or not illegal immigration is actually all that harmful because I simply don't see it. On paper I don't see the issue, but then again nothing ever works out like it does on paper. Thanks for making an intelligent post, I'd give you karma but I don't care and I assume you don't either.

If we privatized social security when Bush tried to we would be out billions of dollars and the social security system would collapse.

Bush admitted to doing coke and being an alcoholics.

I agree with you, but I don't know if comparing Bush to Obama as a way of defending him is actually helping your argument.

Here's some interesting stuff I found.

"Roughly 17 percent of the prison

population at the federal level are illegal aliens. That's a huge

number since illegal aliens only account for about 3 percent of the

total population."

As Investors Business Daily reported in March 2005:

"The U.S. Justice Department estimated that 270,000 illegal immigrants

served jail time nationally in 2003. Of those, 108,000 were in

California. Some estimates show illegals now make up half of

California's prison population, creating a massive criminal subculture

that strains state budgets and creates a nightmare for local police

forces."

As to the "hard-working" claim, CIS notes: "The proportion of

immigrant-headed households using at least one major welfare program is

24.5 percent compared to 16.3 percent for native households."

Investor's Business Daily concurs: "Once [illegals] get here, they are 50 percent more likely to be on welfare than citizens."

The Federation for American Immigration Reform also turned to the

Justice Department to get statistics on criminal aliens. They report:

"In March 2000, Congress made public Department of Justice statistics

showing that, over the previous five years, the INS had released over

35,000 criminal aliens instead of deporting them. Over 11,000 of those

released went on to commit serious crimes, over 1,800 of which were

violent ones [including 98 homicides, 142 sexual assaults, and 44

kidnappings].

Now lets see here, how much does it cost to support a man in prison? This is in 2001, "Among facilities operated by the

Federal Bureau of Prisons, it was $22,632 per inmate, or $62.01

per day."

270,000 x 22,632 = 6,110,640,000 in costs to the prison system alone, and today it is probably much more since that 22,632 figure was from 2001 and the 270,000 was from 2003. Lets assume its closer to 7.5 billion in just prison system costs.

Want to solve illegal immigration?

Put together a workers task force that charges employers that higher illegals. A significant amount of money. Two strike policy, caught once fine, caught twice you loose your business license.

The thing is no one wants to stop illegal immigration it lets employers pay nothing for work with no liability and no need for benefits. Which in turn, for bigger companies, raises profits. So the only ones loosing are the immigrants and the unskilled white folk.

Also think about this we all have roots in immigration to this country. Unless you are a 100% native American, and if so I doubt you can use a computer.

What does the statue of liberty say? "Give us your tired, your weak, your poor." The basis that anyone can come to america and make it better is what made our country we cant turn our back on that. Or we could amend the saying to "Give us your tired, your weak, your poor* (from Europe, no brow folk)

McCain voted the same way on almost all of those! dont start talking shit if you dont know your own side. i will quote an aritle about McCain,

"McCain was taken to an interrogation room and ordered to sign a document confessing to war crimes. "I signed it," he recalled. "It was in their language, and spoke about black crimes, and other generalities.""

he

A lot of times their crime are too serious for them just to be deported and set free in Mexico.

There needs to be combination of increased border security, strict consequences for employers that higher illegals, and a more comprehensive legal immigration policy (where one doesn't have to wait 8-9 years to come over legally).

But I doubt it will happen anytime soon. Obama and McCain are very weak on immigration, notice how it has not even come up as a matter of debate? Democrats want illegals because they provide future democrat voters, while the republicans in power are too blind to see that hiring illegals causes more harm economically than it does good.

I want immigrants from Mexico Central America to be able to come over here legally. Its necessary that we start keeping track of who is coming in and out of this country. Keep track of who has a criminal record and who does not. Encourage those who come over here legally to learn English and assimilate into US society, rather than form a separate society within a society. Prevent employers from paying illegals under the table and cheating the system out of tax dollars.

I am considering moving out of the country and going to grad school in new zealand if mccain wins.

not everything has to be two-sided. mccain sucks. people are realizing this. if you don't like it, too bad.

Our reputation in the Middle East is not simply because of Bush, nor will talking solve anything. Radical Islam, it is REAL! These people will stop at nothing to destroy the West. Wishful thinking on Obama's part...

longer version (still not full video)

I'm in class so I can't watch the video, I'll do it when I get home. Obviously talking to leaders of Middle Eastern nations is not going to SOLVE the problem, but it will definitely improve it.

A) If we can get more Middle Eastern nations to cooperate with us, the task of dismantling radical Islam will be MUCH easier.

B) It's not our image with preexisting radicals we're trying to repair, it's our image with potential recruits. Those already opposed to us aren't going to change their minds, but many people who are angry with our occupation might be dissuaded with a scheduled, immediate withdrawal (which McCain opposes), and a black president who is willing to talk reasonably to their leaders. Yes, his being black does matter.

C) Kind of unrelated, but there are numerous other problems in the ME aside from radical Islamics trying to fuck up our country. Pakistan and Israel? Iran? Talking and reputation-building may not solve all of it, but it's a good first step, and these are issues that NEED to be addressed quickly.

I'll let you know what i think of the video when i get home.

thank you sir. I was reading down the original list and i realized that those were pretty much the reason's i LIKED him. The thread creator is retarted. YOu cannot honestly tell someone to look at something with an open mind after writing that list

Okay, are you done? Can we all scream racist now? Because... damn. You're pretty racist. If you want to convince people otherwise, I suggest you refrain from using the phrase "Mexican Trash" to describe people.

dude, you were right to expect the hate, i mean, look at what you posted. it's probably the stupidest argument against Obama out there.

You know...if I were going to list things that were wrong with Obama's policies, I would have put his complete lack of a sound budget and a logical economic plan at the top, not abortion.

...just saying.

holy fuckin shit, i just posted his views, and i dunno why ppl agree with them, i simply dont agree with them....eveyrone just assumes soo much shit its rediculous....i clearly stated i dont want ot make it into agruements, i just really dont agree with him at all, and was wondering why the majority of u do

The nature of these threads is argumentative. You can't expect anything else.. That said you probably should have picked more points. Disagreeing with some of those things posted is plain un-American.

Quick question over something I just overheard... does McCain really plan to cut Medicare to the tune of 1.3 trillion dollars? And if so... does that mean he's completely given up on Florida's 27 electoral votes? Because if so my electoral math has this one currently sitting at "foregone conclusion"... if the election were held today it would be a landslide.

Denying habeus corpus to persons subject to the control of American government officials is absolutely unAmerican.

he voted yes to allow some of the most ruthless terrorists to use habeas corpus? even when some of these prisoners were released free of charges, they returned to terrorists acts even after being in Guantanmo bay? Why would u allow these prisoners the rights of habeas corpus?

Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you take away their rights. Detaining them without explanation just fuels their fire when/if they get released.

ok im a little confused here...so ur saying just becuase u dont agree with them, agree as in why they r terrorists? and detaining them and "fueling their fire" until they get released, so ur saying they have a right to go out an be terrorists again? is that what ur getting at?

I'm saying that if we, the United States, detain someone, they deserve to be given the same rights as Americans, despite differences in views, opinions, etc. While it's hard sometimes to let this happen, it's important that it does.

The moment you try to explain away the detention of even ONE person, citizen or no, without the right to a trial, or due process, you have absolutely FORFEITED your status as a just and civilized society. Period. Everyone has the right to a defense and a fair hearing to plead their case no matter how horrible a person they may be, because without that most basic principle Justice means nothing. Disagreement with this principle puts one fundamentally at odds with the tenets of western democracy and consequently it is the perfect example of "Un-American".

Let me just add that possibly the most fundamental founding principle of the United States is that EVERYONE, not just Americans but everyone, being so endowed by their creator, by virtue of being human beings, has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No one can take that right away without proving, beyond a reasonable doubt, that it is absolutely necessary. And in order to do that, you need to grant people a fair trial and the right to defend themselves against what they've been charged with. I cannot for the life of me understand the sheer stupidity and ignorance that could give rise to the views you're expressing right now.

i dont agree with that, they rnt american citizens, they shouldnt have the same rights as us period. Call it stupidiity, or call it an opinion?

Your opinion is in direct conflict with the founders of your country and undermines the entire basis of the nation's justice system and the justice system of all common law jurisdictions (basically the entire western world besides France and Quebec). Consequently, it is either a pretty stupid opinion, or you're fundamentally opposed to the most basic of American values.

You've got to be shitting me.

What does it say on the statue of liberty?

hint: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Are you saying that there are people out there that can't be Americans? You're beyond stupidity, makes me ashamed to have you as a compatriot.

Just leave the country if you really believe what you just said, i'm dead serious, get the fuck out.

and what's really truly sad is that a Canadian has to tell you what it means to be an American.

so terrorists should have the same rights as any american citizen.........and im not saying they CANT be american citizens.

how the fuck are you going to know if they are a terrorist?

By removing habeus corpus you allow the government to claim anyone who they suspect as an enemy combatant is a terrorist...

No one said anything about "terrorists" or detainees (you're not a terrorist in a legal sense until someone's proven you're a terrorist) should be afforded every right and privilege the average American gets. What I'm saying is that they should have the right not to be thrown in jail for as long as their jailors want without the opportunity to defend themselves in a trial. That is basic. Whatever you may want to argue about with regard to driver's licenses, taxable income or whatever else, none of this is any excuse for denying people their right to trial.

There was a CNN report on both McCain and Obama outlining their personal history with interviews and comment from each. I will never forget the report on Obama and the things he said about himself and his family.

I have a really good piece on him and his history that needs to have fact checked but I am afraid to post it because of all of the outcry and because it is very long.

does no one else "mostly agree" with the this?

is anyone aware of the whole similar issue with the growing turkish population in germany?

all i got from this post was you like the patriot act (are you seriouse) you like guns, and you dont want healthcare for people who need it.

looking into Obama's life:

Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in

California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all

kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant

mind, did not apply himself to his studies.
'Barry' (that was the name he

used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan

Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan.

During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip.

Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three

weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then

off to Africa to visit his father's family. My question - Where did he get

the money for this trip?

When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this

time he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry.
Do you know what

the tuition is at Columbia? It's not cheap! to say the least. Here did he

get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe. After Columbia, he went to

Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago?

Why not New York? He was already living in New York.

By 'chance' he met Antoin 'Tony' Rezko, born in Aleppo

Syria,
and a real estate developer in Chicago. Rezko has been convicted of

fraud and bribery this year. Rezko, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Decade'

by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association'.

About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what

tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where did he get the money for Law

School?
More student loans? After Law school, he went back to Chicago.

Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down.

But, he did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what? They represented 'Rezar'

which Rezko's firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial

contributors
when he ran for office in Chicago. In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his U.S. Senate race.

In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwoood District of

Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking price) . With ALL those Student

Loans - Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day

Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price. The

London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned

Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama

met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.

Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett,

was Michele Obama's boss. She is now Obama's chief advisor
and he does not

make any major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett

born? Ready for this? Shiraz, Iran! Do we see a pattern here? Or am I

going crazy?

On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley advisor to

Obama was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts

with 'Hamas', which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past

week, buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that

during Obama's visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about the

war until after he is elected, and he will 'Take care of things'.

Oh, and by the way, remember the college roommates that

where born in Pakistan? They are in charge of all those 'small' Internet

campaign contribution
for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor

and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?

And the final bit of news. On September 7, 2008, The

Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on 'This Week' with

George Stephanapoulos. Obama on talking about his religion said, 'My Muslim

faith'.
When questioned, 'he made a mistake'. Some mistake!

All of the above information is online. Barack Obama; Tony Rezko;

Valerie Jarrett: Daily Times - Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The

Washington Times - September 7, 2008; The Times May 10, 2008.

Why haven't all of our intelligent members of the press been reporting this?

^ i think i've heard at least that the foreign contributions claim is bunk, i'll have to look around for that.

-voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out of state

abortions. personally im against abortions all together, but if i had a

daughter and she went and got an abortion and i wasnt notified about

it, i would not be happy about that.

It's her body, she should be able to do what she wants with it. Do you think that minors should notify parents when they have sex? Would you like to say "Mom, Dad - I'm going to go have sex now, I'll be back later." I highly doubt it.

-supports affirmative

action in colleges and governments quotas. IMO, affrimative action was

great for minorities a while back, but cmon now, i really dont think

its necessary to give them advantages anymore, whatever happened to us

being all equal?

Whatever happened to us being equal? Go read The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin or Freakonomics by Steven Levitt. In Freakonomics, an economics book mind you, the author describes a case in which two resumes were give to the same companies. One had the name DeShawn Williams, the other Jake Williams. In every case, Jake Williams was granted an interview. How is that equal?

-says he will deal with street level drug dealing at a minimum wage affair.

What are you trying to say here?

-admitted to his use of marijuana and cocaine in both highschool and college

Props. The man has balls, admitting to using illegal drugs. Do you smoke pot? Do you tell people that you smoke? Does this make you a worse person? No.

-

his religious views seem very sketchy, and seems like hes hiding

something (which most if not all politicians do hide certain things)

Maybe he is trying to hide his views because he believes that there should be no place for religion in the government? Separation of church and state?

- says after being elected his first goal would be to meet with all muslim nations....why?

To ease tensions between their countries and ours.
T

- opposes the patriot act

You support the government spying on us?
You

- voted to allow lawsuits against gun manufacturers

How are gun manufacturers any different from other manufacturers? If a kid dies on a swingset, that company will be sued. If a kid dies from a gun, that company should be investigated (how could a child turn a safety off?) I'm not putting the blame on the gun company, but they should not be invincible.
How

- supports universal healthcare

Go watch Bowling for Columbine. Michael Moore goes to France and interviews countless citizens. They have doctors that TRAVEL to you, for free.

Better yet, simply ask any Canadian on this website how they feel about universal healthcare. I know that I would rather spend my hard earned tax dollars on someone else's health more than spending it on a $700 billion bailout.

- voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo prisoners

Denying habeas corpus is straight up un-American!
Den

- supports granting drivers liscense to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!? is that serious?

They came to this country to have a better life. How can they do so if they cannot travel to work, a simple task for us citizens?

-

supports extending welfare to ILLGEAL IMMIGRANTS!? i dont want my hard

earned money going to anyone trying to take advantage of our countries

system

See above. I don't want my hard earned money going to stupid CEO fucks that make $14 million a year.
I

- voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform

I believe that our immigration policies should be reformed.

- voted yes on allowing ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to participate in social security

Would you rather have it privatized?

-

opposed to any efforts to privatize social security and instead,

supports incrasing the amount of tax paid into Soc. Sec. yes, he wants

to increase taxes

Privatizing social security makes me so angry. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer. That is not how it should be.

- voted no on repealing the alternative minimum tax which now hits the middle income brackets, another tax increase

- wants to raise the capital gains tax, another tax increase

Apparently, our current tax situation is not doing us any good. We need change.

I'm not going to neg your karma for voicing your opinion, but PLEASE read and consider some of these points, and the points that others make
