Blew a couple paychecks on all new outerwear, new boots, and new helmet and I am stoked. Tell me about what your stoked about.

Im hoping my volkl kinks snap so i can buy some revolt 95s. But volkl makes durable shit so ill probably have to stick with my kinks. They are still great skis tho.

Relatable

Same.

Haven't pulled the trigger on poles but did pick-up 18/19 Noctas, 185cm, i'm pumped to get those out after the base is filled out.

Also bought a HH shell, 2.5L I think, price was right fit and color are good, we'll see how the waterproofing is after a few warmish wet days. My other jacket is just too warm for Tahoe most of the time even with the lightest base or tee underneath.

Picked up some minty Supernatural 108's, I skied them a few days in July and they fucking rip. Can't wait to get em on some real snow.

Got me some:

Cascade 110's mounted with warden 13's.

QST 92's.

New boots, helmet, hestras,goggles.

Why I work at a ski shop even though I'm an engineer 9-5.

I'm jelly. I never got to ski those and I always regret it.

Got a big dark foresty green color rain jacket in XL fits kinda like 2xl . Looks kinda like a coaches jacket . Big rubber jacket . Should keep heat in and cold out pretty good . Free too

Picked up some outerwear from a thrift shop in Scotland. It’s ugly AF but I dig it. British military fatigue jacket with some brown pants. 25 bucks

Boutta ride some backland 109's. First ever skis not mounted dead center. Shits gonna feel weird.

i ride the 2018 model about 2+ from recommended. sweet skis, super light, floats well on pow and sooo soft for buttering. i can literally pop so high on my tails while tail buttering. Only down side is that they dont do very well charging crude. they also ride well in the park

Would -4 from center be too forward?

Y'all should really try to find a pair to keep at Blister HQ to benchmark other skis against. They feel a lot like Enforcer 110's but they can be a lot more locked in when you want them to be. I've only had them in summer mashed potatoes and slush bumps but I love them so far.

Considering thats half from recommended, yes thats too forward and mounting it there would defeat the purpose of the ski's directional shape. I ride park on em and they're fine even at -6.5 and switch riding. What are you using these skis for?

New Jeffrey 96s for my everything ski at the local Vancouver mountains. Love my K108s and stoked for a narrower/lighter version for jibbing and ripping all over the smaller hills and for park laps.

Gonna snag some new arv 96s and maybe new 106s or 116s not sure, then just some other armada attire, really hyped to finally have some plain black pants that are gore tex, never had that so I'm hyped to not be soaked on wetter days.

18/19 Candide 4.0s in a 194. First time riding on skis that long. Hope they charge.

I've demo'd these and they go fuckin hard. They're not really damp but damn do they pop. My daily sidehits turned into fuckin' booters, such a blast of a ski. (And they're CSU colors, go state! ???)

CSU is sick besides the fact they are so far away from any good skiing.

There's some hidden gems up the poudre that's only about 1.5 hours away from the fort if earnin turns and building BC booters is your thing. Cameron Pass is 1/100th the shitshow berthoud or loveland pass is jist because nobody goes up there.

But true fact, it's a trek just to get on to i70 from the fort.

Yeah I gave up on resort skiing after a year of going there, but Cameron and RMNP are super sick and not crowded at all if you know where to go.
