Ski doesn't necessarily need camber to be 'poppy'. You'll know what I mean when you load up the tails and boioioioing into the sky, or when the ski bends in a carve and rockets you out of a turn.

One night I ended up (regrettably) being there when they turned the lights on, and someone had managed to either shit in the middle of the dance floor, or somehow moved shit from the bathrooms to the middle of the room. Rec room with the lights on is a disturbing place.

I have heard this story, you're lucky to have been there on that magical night. I always leave before the lights turn on because everyone looks way worse than they do in the dark.

I’m torn between getting a good pair of all mountain skis or getting the new Atomic Punx 5 2020 skis.. these skis are the tits but they’re straight up park skis 85 underfoot and while usually not a big deal for me, I had some fatter skis for the past 2 seasons as my daily’s and I don’t think I could ever enjoy going back to park skis or anything less than like 96 underfoot.

I'm going to grab a new pair of boots at the start of the season as I'm really after something stiffer than what I'm in. If I can get a pro deal on em, I'm probably going to see if I can get the Nordica Enforcer 104 free. They're exactly what I'm looking for in a ski I think.

Stiff enough to open it up when I want to, but still manageable when things get tight in the trees and sketchy terrain. I just hope I don't have to spend an arm and a leg for em.
 
My Dakine Fall Line padded roller bag 190cm came in the mail today. It looks good, working on some ski travel plans so I had to pick up a good bag, $105 on reí, not my color preference but that's my only gripe.

Do those have buttons that are easy to press with gloves/mittens on? I bought some wireless ones last season and ended up back to the stock iPhone ones quickly. Mainly because pressing the buttons caused them to jam further into my ear and was more of a pain in the ass than anything.

Yeah, they have nice easy buttons. All i really need is Play/Pause in terms of buttin function. Not sure if they skip track, but thats what setting a Queue is for right??

You got more time than most anyone else on diff. Kinds of skis. How do you compare the wildcat 108 to the deathwish? Seems there's some overlap. Talked to the dudes @moment and they seemed to recommend the deathwish for what I want out of a ski (somethin that rails but won't get hung up in pow/chop)

Not sure yet, haven't skied the Deathwish and have only spent a tiny bit of time on the Wildcat 108 so far. Cy loves the Deathwish and praises its edge hold, given its width, so I'm guessing it'll be a bit better on really firm stuff. The Wildcat 108 is a bit heavier, so if I had to guess I'd guess that it's a bit more stable, but I bet they'll be pretty similar. I've never skied a triple-camber ski yet so that's the big variable for me. I'm definitely eager to compare the two though, I have a feeling that I'm gonna love both of them based on how much I like the regular Wildcat.

Yeah, really interested to hear.

My only experience with them in the past was a drunk roommate showing me his brand new, unmounted pair, hand flexing one, and snapping the tip.

Maybe the funniest thing I've ever seen a drunk person do.

That's amazing. Only thing I can say so far about them is that they did not break while hand-flexing them...
